U.S. President George W. Bush said on Friday the United States would have a long-term presence in Iraq that could "easily" last a decade, but that it would be at the invitation of the Iraqi government.

In an interview with NBC News, Bush was asked about recent comments by Republican presidential hopeful Sen. John McCain that it would be fine with him to have a U.S. military presence in Iraq for 100 years.

Eddie Vedder was right--'it's a world wide suicide.'

Possible solutions:

1. The US is invaded by a foreign country (I am not talking about the illegal Mexicans).

2. The US enages in a civil war (objective: to remove traitors like Bush, his Neo-Nazis party known as the Republican party, Nancy Pelosi and other Washington prostitutes like Hillary Clinton).

3. Put the USA on e-bay for the highest bidder. I'd start the bid with 1 Euro (the dollar is worthless, thanks to Bush). Any bidder?

Well, that was the fascists' (PNAC's) plan all along. Why is anyone surprised?

Iraq? We're not staying in Iraq. Baghdad, or as it will be renamed, Victory City, will be the capital of America's 51st state -- Texastan.

First governor of Texastan?

Richard B. Cheney, at a CEO salary of $50 million a year plus a percentage of oil revenues.

Texastan will be a mecca, no pun intended, of FREEDOM in the Middle East.

The No. 1 state holiday will be January 20 -- Founder's Day, with a big statue of George W. Bush in the capital.

See, it all works out in the end.

Bush is easily the most disastrous human being to walk the planet since Adolf Hitler - and congress is easily the most complicit enabling body to allow such a madman to have death and destruction as a central policy since that era as well.

A permanent US presence in Iraq has always been part of the plan, who do these assholes think they're kidding (besides idiots like Superbus and Illuminati that is)?

And as for the Hillary supporting-Obama/Edwards bashing crowd, please explain to the rest of why we should back her in light of her pro-war voting record and matching rhetoric?

Here's a thought. If Bush wants the country to back him up in the Iraq war for ten or one hundred years as McCain wants he should show his personal commitment to the war by sending his two girlsgonewild to Iraq. Wouldn't that be patriotic?

Steven Cobert, born and rasied SC commented that thier idea of progress is changing the "stars and the bars flying over the state house from cotton to poly-cotton" point well taken.

I don't like to bang on other peoples sates but I have a friend who moved to SC from Long Island NY which is about as Republican as it get's in the NY aside from Weastern NY State and he was quite surprised. He works in the boat repair business and his impression of his co-workers were, let's just say slow.

Bush is so on a different page. What about the voting machines, oh grand disembler? Do something for the American people which would set your sail toward a brighter place in history rather than infamy. This is your chance. Surprise us all, get your head out of your ...

As Pat Buchanan says, Islamic people excel at expelling imperial powers through the use of terror. What he is leaving out is "why".
Since the beginning of time, it has been well documented that Islamic people are an unstable lot. Everyone knows that they are prone to violent outbursts and irrational behavior. Islamic people are basically crazy. Islamic people have no control over their emotions. They make terrible decisions, always have, always will. It must be something genetic. Perhaps Islamic people have some sort of DNA flaw which creates their rude irrational immoral illegal illicit violent and perverted behaviors. Has anyone ever met or seen or heard or a normal Islamic person? I mean, if you just look at their women wrong, it's off with your head. Tell a joke about them, and a war against the rest of humanity has started. Islamic people can never be trusted, are impulsive, self-centered, and immoral. Islamic people are also sexual addicts, especially with underage children; sex doesn't seem to matter.
Throughout history, almost every single war, campaign, and battle has involved Islamic people. It's their way of the highway. Islamic people hate progress as well.
It must be concluded that Islamic people are a different race or species, and they must be treated as such.

All evidence points to and suggests that we are now the American Empire. We have no intention of leaving Iraq--just look at the size of Fort Baghdad--the new embassy in Iraq. Sadly its now about protecting our investment.

SOME presence is likely... especially if we continue to build our mega-embassy.

And since we did allow al-Qaeda to flower in Iraq, we should try to clean that crap up.

However, assuming a Dem wins the November election, he/she will have but a single term in office if America retains a large military presence in Iraq.

We need to LEAVE.

And as all of this unfolds, how many candidates do we have left in the running who actually oppose this war?

I was watching yesterday rethugs (as some puts it) debate. Ron Paul was blasting the war mongers but McCain's point was very plausible. "It's not the presence it's the casualties that Americans don't like" and then he was wrong, saying "the surge is working". In my view the surge is not working. It's the policy (giving money to Sunni) which is working.

It's great mess ever created by Dubya or shall I say dumbya. What's the solution to this? no body knows.
