We should try to be a little bit more understanding of Fox viewers. Picture, if you will, 300,000 fat, ignorant, drunken Republicans pulling their tiny puds to the one magazine their wives will ALLOW them to buy, and then they stumble upon a Real Man like Keith -

They may begin to get aroused, and then it's a beeline to the airport toilets. Or some childrens' playground.

I like to and often watch Keith Olberman on his evening 'Countdown' show. I may not agree with all of his beliefs, but I do like his news style. He presents an alternitive to all of FoxNews with their far right from mainstream news presentations. He isn't just a news reader, but someone who is concerned with presenting a broader range of views then most MSM news programs. He brings on people who represent more progressive or critical views of the Bush/Republican administration. His Countdown is an important balance badly needed vs. Rush, O'Rilly, Lou Dobbs and others who present very narrow and reactionary views of the news. Yet, KO doesn't ignore the junk news of celeberties and general society, but does so in a way that is very critical of those people.
I hope he can be on MSNBC with Countdown for many years. We need him

Great bunch of comments. Shows the full range of people. Playboy has a list of interviews that ranks with any other. It has been quite a few years since I last bought one but they seemed to have the ability to sit people down for quality, long interviews. Bill Gates, Malcolm X,Bob Dylan,Dr King,John Lennon just to name a few. The list is huge. By his interview Keith is listed as a person that influences society. He should be proud to be on the list. This magazine always struck me as trying to add to life. Better clothes,cars,etc. As for the women, I for one think that a good to look at woman is one of the finest things in life and I hope never to lose this appreciation. I do not like porn stars because they are to hard and course and I do not like the way that Penthouse and similar magazines depict women. The girl next door is just fine by me.

There is nothing wrong with playboy, and I was ESTATIC to see an article with Olbermann in it. I love Playboys articles- it is a magazine with a more liberal slant than conservative, and thier coverage of olbermann was hilarious, and painted him in a great light. THAT's why the fundies wrote to playboy en-masse. BECAUSE THEY DID A GOOD JOB COVERING HIM.

So, Playboy readers are experts on some subject, any subject? Playboy readers are composed primarily of teenagers and men who suffer from arrested development at the teenager stage.

Playboy is sexist. Anyone, male or female, who appears in Playboy in any form is helping to perpetuate sexism. It is one thing to print up pornography. We have freedom of the press in this country. It is quite another to have a hybrid magazine that pursues cultural relevance, while at the same time discouraging women and non-heterosexual men from the readership by featuring a naked woman right in the middle of it. And their tagline "entertainment for men" - I think that says it all. Women are more than just "entertainment for men."
