French President Nicolas Sarkozy is believed to have married former Italian supermodel Carla Bruni at a small private ceremony held at the Elysee palace last week, a French newspaper reported Monday.

In a report posted on its website on Monday, L'Est Republicain newspaper quoted an unnamed "source close to a witness who attended the ceremony" as saying that it was a "small, very private" affair at the presidential palace.

British newspaper Daily Mail reported last week that Bruni is pregnant with Sarkozy's child.

You know who is pissed about this? Bill Clinton. He's thinking "Jesus-H-Christ, I am the former leader of the free world, rich as all get out, and now Hillary's gonna win the White House and I'm gonna be stuck there for 8 years with her, when I coulda been out getting some former Italian supermodel like that!" Just sayin'...you know it's crossed his mind a few times.

Just like every good neocon, gotta trade in the tired old wife when he strikes it rich in the arena of fame and fortune, for something half his age and to display as a trophy.

Some people here seem to fawn over her pictures. Nothing special about that. As the old saying goes.... "A rich asshole, is still an asshole". Now apply that to her, and well, there you go.

I think the "journalists" only care because they're jealous.

However doesn't know the music of Carla Bruni you need to learn:

Bruni:

She was a popular model in the 90's - don't hold that against her cuz she's written and performed some of the best chanson since the excellent Francis Hardy

You can trash Carla for her "elfish" looks all you want. Fact remains she's awesome and has legs that I'd follow into hell! Never understood her taste in men though. She also dated Donald Trump- egads!

I thought the differences between America and France were nicely put in Adam Brooks' screenplay for the movie "French Kiss," when Meg Ryan tries to get her fiancé's room number at the George V, where he is ensconced with his new French mistress, and the French concierge advises:

"Madam, it is my duty as concierge to safeguard the privacy of our guests. And if our guests need safeguarding from their own fiancées, well, after all, unlike some countries, France
is not a nation of puritanical hypocrites."

Sarkozys comments about Arab Nations & nuclear energy is much more freaking important:

"In 40 years from now there will be no oil left and in 100 years no more gas, nuclear power will replace those energy sources ... It is the energy of the future. "So, [why] should Arab countries be banned from using this energy? That's why we say there is no reason to prevent Arab countries from using nuclear energy for civilian and peaceful purposes."

Me and Sarkow. We both married French/Italian woman. Boy! He don't know what he is in for. It's the screaming that I like. God forbid he drops a morsel of baguette on the floor or forgets to hang his towel up properly. Just remember Nickie keep saying. Oui Ma Cheri! Oui Ma Cheri. Oh I long for the "VOUS" many times. Leave the poor dope alone he's having a ball until she slaps him upside his head when he does not eat his vegetables. I bet sarko's mom is rolling her eyes. Oh! For the old days with Cecelia.

Hey, at least the French are a little more with the times when it comes to the love lives of their leaders. So he's divorced and remarried in the short span of time he's been president. So what? If this happened to a U.S. president, he'd probably be impeached by the Republicans!

We think we are so "with it" and open-minded here, but we are WAY behind when it comes to many other countries. Even Uruguay permits gay marriage!

Leave the man alone, he has the right to marry or not marry anyone he wants.
