Texas Republicans have no one but themselves to blame for the Cowboys' loss.

If they weren't such gay bashers, Romo wouldn't have had to try and prove he isn't a homo by frolicking with Simpson during the season.

The Cowboys ran into the Giants just as they found their legs. That's all. They didn't play badly. The Giants' defense was tougher, and the offense was good enough. Don't blame Romo and Owens.

Yet, Maher has a problem with Hillary getting a little emotional.

The interesting thing about this is that the Giants rolled out the red carpet and.. quite literally.. gave the Cowboys every conceivable opportunity to win.

Romo was off, Owens was off, the whole team was off. Apparently they think that being in the NFL playoffs is no big deal, and that they're entitled to win.

I couldn't stand Owens for what he did to my 49ers ... he hurt the team and I was happy to see him go.


Owens didn't do any favors for the Eagles either.


But, and I can't believe I'm saying this, after what a mess he was on the Cowboys last year, what a distraction and under-achiever ... this year he seemed to turn it around. This year Owens had his head in the game and was trying to contribute.


I actually feel bad for him, even though I can't stand him ... or the Cowboys.

This guy just doesn't get it. If you're going to pull a Hillary, you gotta cry BEFORE the game, not after.

Been a Giants fan all my life and am a Patriots fan by proximity. I also hate two sports and only two, the Yankees and the Cowboys. I don't like big mouth glory boys like Owens. But with that said I think that I understand how Owens feels. It's not just the loss. He has found a loyalty to team and team leader that maturity has given him. His defense of Romo is that of a teammate and friend. His emotion happened as a result of being so close to the moment and I am sure that if it happened a few hours later he wouldn't have been so emotional. Get over it, he had a human moment for a valid reason.

Who cares, bring on the real game. Patriots payback time for 1996.
