Gwyneth Paltrow

NY Mag:

Gwyneth Paltrow was admitted to Mt. Sinai yesterday with ailments unknown, Us Weekly is reporting. "She was slumped over in a wheelchair pushed by [husband] Chris Martin," a witness told Us. "She looked not well." However, Us also reported that later that evening a bag from Organic Avenue was delivered, which indicates that the actress is at least eating. Or is she? Like the virtual Woodward and Bernsteins we are, we called Organic Avenue to find out what was in the bag. "She's doing our five-day live-food fast," an employee told us.

Yes, raw food is good, like salads, ( I have salad every night) but you also need to balance it with cooked lean protein like fish or chicken, and red meat at least occasionally for iron production and B vitamins that you can't get from anything else. Moderation and small portions is the key.(not Big Mac's-that's not food, it's garbage) Vegans as a rule have a gray palor and look unhealthy like dear Gynneth. (and my friend Lori) If you don't believe me, go to the Village in NYC and see the vegans, you can practically point them out, they look like the walking dead, gray skintone, often too skinny, and not so energetic. Like Gwinny! If you don't want to eat animals, then at least eat eggs and cheese for protein.

Perhaps she's going to play the part in a new movie based upon the 60's pop supermodel, Twiggy!

Well if she is stupid enough to go on a diet that weakens her so much she has to take a trip to the hospital in a wheelchair than so be it. Would she allow her children to do that? How skinny does a person need to be. She is a bag of bones to begin with. Is there some kind of contest out there to see who can be the skinniest celebrity? Stupid.

"Live food fast. . ." ????

The eat-or should stay live, not the eat-ee.

And humans require proteins...we're made of the little knotted guys.

What a pathetic non-story. A "fast" implies not eating at all (or at the least, a "juice fast," which still implies no solid food. Per the article itself, 1) she was on a special diet, not a fast, and 2) there's no indication of any cause and effect -- the writer doesn't even really know why she was in there!

This kind of nonsense isn't even worthy of a tabloid rag, much less being linked to by HuffPost....
