I Like ItI Don’t Like It
Maher Hecklers

Just a week after making the boldest talk show appearance ever (third video down), Bill Maher found himself in another awkward position: this time at "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno."

While asking about Maher's opinion on the current crop of presidential contenders, Leno was interrupted Tuesday night by a Dennis Kucinich supporter, who yelled, "Let Dennis debate! Stop censorship! Help save democracy!" (Dennis was shut out from MSNBC's debate last night in Las Vegas).

Then, after a commercial break, Maher was interrupted by a separate audience member, shouting a more ambiguous message: "GE, NBC, Put Impeachment on TV!". Too bad he didn't handle the nuisance like he did on his own show.

Check out the clip from "The Tonight Show" below:

From NBC 1/15/08.

Wow. If you want to find out why Dennis was excluded from the debates here's the answer:

I live in Cleveland, Ohio. Not only was Dennis Kucinich the worst Mayor Cleveland had, he's probably the worst Congressman Northeastern Ohio has ever had. While this guy is off flitting around the country getting his 15 minutes of fame, his 10th Congressional District is dying a slow death. He has done "jack" for the District. Anyone who supports him for President needs to do a little homework. Kucinich is a complete loser.

"Women haters can't even comprehend their own pathetic attempts at explaining how absurd they sound when they put down women feeding babies, probably the most natural act of humankind."

Nobody did that. No one put down women feeding babies. When you learn how to read, get back to me. Also, explain why not wanting to see a man perform the natural act of scratching his nuts in public does not make you a "man hater".

"it is NATURE,..."

I don't have a problem with nature. This isn't nature. It's a resturaunt or movie house. In the meantime you might want to stop assuming that all mothers agree with the notion that breast feeding in public is a good thing.

"If people cannot get over feeding a child, it is my personal hope they starve to death, but are offered a full and supple breast of milk to refuse during the process... perferably, in a public place."

Which proves my point. It's not about "hating" women or feeding children, it's about you being so obsessed with yourself that you would rather offend other paying customers than get up off your butt and walk ten feet to a restroom. And of course anyone who questions your complete and total self-absorbtion should be starved in public.

By the way, since little babies don't stay little forever and since cooking at home for everyone else is going to be cheaper anyway, are you really telling me it would be too much for your psyche to handle to take a year or two off from the movie house or a sit down resturaunt?

But then again, that wouldn't allow you to show off would it? Because what you're really arguing for is your ability to show off the fact that one out of a couple million sperm managed to make its way far enough to fertilize one of your eggs.

"Look at me! I can reporduce! I'm so special!"

Maher is a douchebag. Leno is a tool.

I feel for Dennis. Clearly, the media decides pretty early on who gets heard and who does not. While I think that he is a horse's ass, Alan Keyes has gone completely under the radar. When I first saw Keyes in a televised Republican debate, I said to my wife "Ehhhh, Keyes is running?" He then appeared in maybe one or two other debates before disappearing. Since the media ignores him, I'm not sure I will ever know when he actually drops out of the race.
National politics is the same popularity contest that high school politics is. The news media is only a small step from Hollywood. It's all for our entertainment and to hell with the better good of the country.

Now that he's officially a scab, we can see his true colors emerging. As for the article, he didn't display any heroics as in his own show because he wasn't heroic. What happened on his show was staged BS.

Dennis' supporters are the best

When I read the comments of those who understand Dennis' message of hope and real change, then I know he has struck a chord in the American people that is good and clear and comes through loudly. There is always a double edge to this kind of message and that is the powers that be are very jealous of their power and while Dennis himself is not a threat, his message is and it is the real message of change for this country.
The backers of Dennis get that. They are fully aware of how he will change the way American conducts herself as a nation and the way she will treat not just her citizens but all people. While the Masters of the Universe like us to believe they are all powerful, they are not. Dennis' message proves that and the lengths they will to to in order to stop us from hearing Dennis' message says a lot about their vulnerability.
It also says a lot about the ways in which the parties at this point have become a mirror image of each other. I find it hard to believe that if Hillary Clinton were excluded from the debate or Barack Obama were that Dennis would not challenge the tv networks making that decision on their behalf or stand next to them and usher them onto the stage because of his belief that these airwaves belong to the people (which they do) and because the truth is not so fragile that it cannot be talked about by everyone.

Those shows in the '90's, such as Phil Donahue, Richard Bey etc. did serve a purpose. They provided the average Joe to participate and speak their mind. Today, it seems everything in the MSM is so pre-packaged and so corporate owned, that people have to resort to heckling to voice their opinion. Witness the MSNBC debate. That heckler was speaking for me. And if you are not enraged and angry with the state of our country, then you are not paying attention!

Bill Maher is a jackass...spouting off about free speech and all that until someone disagrees with him, then its "shut up...you're stupid and dumb...shut up...you're dumb and stupid...i'm not listening...lalalalalala."

His audience is the aging who like to think of themselves as progressive, so long as it requires nothing more than telling their friends how right Bill Maher is...and so long as it does not, in any way, interrupt their day to day life.

He gives potheads a bad name...

Bill Maher is a cowardly lackey and legend in his own mind. He turned yellow after losing his show on NBC and is now a full fledged shill. He has no empathy for those that feel their voices are being shut out by the corporate media's control of the public airwaves - as well as in Washington, where their elected representatives bypass the majority view to pander to corporate lobbyists.

Its obvious that Bill Maher hasn't cracked a textbook in his adult life and is too afraid to have serious academics with opposing viewpoints as part of his panels. He is not inclined towards critical thinking, and is only interested in doing shallow interviews with those seeking plugs for their boring tomes. He's a lost cause and has lost all respect in the eyes of many.

Oh please! Kucicnich is not the only presidential candidate left out of the media spotlight.

Do you recognize any of these Democratic candidates? Chuck See, Doctress Neutopia (aka Libby Hubbard), Richard Grayson, Sandy Whitehouse, Frank Lynch, Michael Oatman, Orion Karl Daley, Edward Dobson, William Campbell, Tish Haymer, Leland Montell, Karl Krueger, Rich Lee, Peter "Simon" Bollander?

No? Well, that's because these fine men and THREE WOMEN running for president on the Democratic party ballot in Arizona have been ignored by the media too!

Flip those national campaigns the proverbial finger and join the brave candidates of the Arizona Primary in their bold experiment in politics.

These debates are televised nationwide, reaching all the PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. All the candidates are running FOR THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

So how is it right, that MSNBC leaves one candidate thats running for the the UNITED STATES PRESIDENT OUT?

It is a conflict of interest for any corporate owned business(MSM)to hold debates. Especially, when these same corporations are the problem ONE CANDIDATE (the one left out), want to get rid of.

"I was done with him when he went after nursing mothers."

While I don't agree with everything Bill Mahr says, this is just a tiny example of what's wrong with America. He didn't "go after" nursing mothers. He asked why nursing HAS to take place in a crowded resturaunt.

Apperently some people have decided it's more important to force the rest of us to share the feeding experience with them in public places than it is to act like you have even a pinch of class.

Here's a news flash for all the "pay-attention-to-me-because-I-can-get-pregnant" crowd: there's a differnece between being a juvenile ehibitionist and exhibiting maturity and tact.

Contrary to what some apparently believe, just because you have a kid doesn't mean the whole world has a responsibility to change their agenda to fit yours and we certainly don't have any responsibility to feel all warm and fuzzy about looking at your boobs while we try to eat the cheesecake we just bought.

These are the same morons who insist on bringing a baby to a movie so no one can hear the soundtrack while the prescious little bundle squalls its head off. And that's not the baby's fault, its the abject idiot who brought them to a movie a baby couldn't possibly understand anyway, just so they can publicly proclaim, "I have ovaries and I can be fertilized!"

This isn't about "rights as a parent", it's about not being rude. If you had a baby that's great for you but it doesn't obviate your responsibility to practice basic common courtesy to other people, especially in a public place, who had and want nothing to do with your parenthood.
