Mitt Romney

Washington Post:

When former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney paid tribute to his presidential heroes during his victory speech last night, he left out one prominent Republican: President Bush.

For weeks, Romney had been telling the campaign that he draws his inspiration from the GOP icon Ronald Reagan. Last night, in Michigan, he told a crowd of supporters, "I take my inspiration from Ronald Reagan and George Herbert Walker Bush." Moments later, he repeated the two men's names.

But at no point did he mention the nation's current president, George W. Bush.

So Romney thinks the Bush adminstration is going to allow a huge financial Depression? Can't say I disagree with that comment.

Romney is clearly and with out pretext courting
Central's and the rest of the security apparatus's support for his presidency. He has given them the signal that they will get as much monies as they ask for and will be totally prioritized by him reigning as the new 5 star general in the oval office with the Black Star on the wall.

It's their careers, s****d. It's job security.

Funny, I see a resemblance, too. My aunt's Hoover caught fire and burned her house down, nothing was left: a most fitting metaphor.

I have to admit Bush is a great name for a vacuum cleaner as any Bush sucks far more than a Hoover.

Ronald Reagan had the highest rate of unemployment of any president since WWII and the lowest rate of job creation of any president since WWII. Ronald Reagan had the largest constitutional scandal (Iran-Contra - assessed by Iran Contra Commission to be much larger than Watergate), The "Savings and Loan" scandal( the largest financial scandal - Per Jim Leach - in our national history), the HUD scandal, a miliitary procurement scandal, and an intelligence scandal. No other president in our national history had major scandals of this magnitude. The Reagan-Bush years were the most scandal ridden in our Nations History. Even Barry Goldwater, Reagan's mentor, said Ronnie wasn't a very good president and that his second term was terrible. Yet, not only Romney, but all the Republican candidates vow to run a Reagan-like presidency. Now, that's real terror. Historians don't rate Reagan all that well, just above Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter (Murray-Blessing). Romney , and all the Republican cndidates are so poor, they would indeed be a lot like Reagan.

Romney thinks W. is like William Henry Hoover the famous Vacuum Cleaner salesman? Did W. sell Romney a "bag on a stick"?

Aoohhh...

So this is the Family Candidate, eh? Driving a wedge between Father and Son.

Seems as if Bushco has cried a bit and cut Dumbya loose. Poor Jebbie. HE's gonna be the VP candidate, the Mormon gods be willing and the creek don't rise (and maybe there is no global warming on the PLANET KOLOB).

Aren't these folks a beaut?

Ugh.
