USA Today:

The good news, Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Rodham Clinton told USA TODAY's Susan Page this afternoon, is that only 62% of Republicans say they would be "afraid" if she won the White House.

"I'm surprised that the number is not higher," Clinton said Thursday when told that a Gallup Poll found six in 10 Republicans said her election would leave them "afraid." (Another 29% in the Dec. 10-13 survey said they would be "disappointed," 6% "pleased" and 1% "excited.")

Hard core Republicans aren't afraid of Hillary or Barack. They'd love to see one of them get nominated, then they could counter with McCain and get all the undecided, middle of the road, crossover voters. The one they need to fear is Edwards, because there are already a lot of people who would love to vote for him if he's nominated. There are even Republicans who love Edwards, and no Republican would stand a chance against him.

Why would they be afraid of Hillary ? When ever they see her they begin their chant :
"One of Us, One of us"

They are not scared of her because they think they can beat her.

The real Fairy Tale in the race is Hillary's idea that she's the one who can win vs. the Republican's. She IS formidable, but I'd rate her as the weakest of the three in the head to heads.

Fact: Independents and Republicans vote for Obama (and possibly Edwards) more than for Clinton. How getting less on the independents and Republican's makes one more electable, I have no idea.

I'm not surprised at all. Look at her Bush voting record.

I used to think the Hillary haters were insane, now at least I understand them. I used to worry that Hillary couldn't win in a general election, now I'm scared she could win. Seriously folks, it would not be a good thing for this country. Even if you like Hillary, you have to agree that she brings some major problems with her. I for one am tired of all the drama.

Why should anyone be afraid of Hillary Clinton?: It is obvious it is her husband who is really running for a third term. Why should anyone be afraid of her? She has baggage, big time. She has switched positions, one after another and virtually seeks to be a Republican, rather than a Democrat (pay attention to her and her running mate Bill's postion on the Nevada Culinary workers law suit)

They got plenty on she and her dear man Bill and they have virtually proven themselves to be desperate candidates with a whole lot of money from their corporate buddies.

Dear people. We do not need to be subjected to this dynastic, queenly and kingly, progression from people who seek to be president (s) for their own aggrandisement.

It is not healthy for this country.
