Huckabee Directly Equates Homosexuality With Bestiality

At some point you'd think Mike Huckabee's views would be seen as so controversial that there's no way he could possibly be a contender for the nomination of one of America's two main political parties.

Especially now. In an interview with Beliefnet.com, a religion Web site, Huck has just clarified his view that the Constitution should be amended to be brought in line with God's will -- and he directly equated homosexuality with bestiality.

Where do these rightwingnuts get their notions of things?????
Allowing two men or two women to profess their love and devotion to each other in a more formal way such that they have the same access to rights of American citizens that their straight fellow countrymen and women have is in no way comparable to the crazy sorts of combinations of "marriages" Huckabee came up with in that interview.
Never was there any mention about allowing or promoating besitality when gays seek access to "civil union" or what have you--these people are the ones with the sick notions of things sexual spinning 'round in their lizard brains...
God help us if Huckabee were to get the presidency!!!

Huckabee, like many Christians, is (some would say willfully) ignorant of how the content of the bible was selected by religious councils during the first centuries after Jesus. Does he think it fell, fully formed, from God's hands to... hey, who was it that had the first bible? Surely Huck must know.

I think it's a SPLENDID idea, as stated in the end of the article, that the media start covering Huck's "fringe views of Christianity" more.....

When the Iowa caucus was coming up, and we were getting coverage here on HuffPo about Huck's ideas the "Gay marriage would end civilization", and the view that..."th­is is the first time in history that a plague such as HIV/AIDS wasn't being isolated from the general population­"...and how "keeping women subservient to their husbands; and not allowed as leaders in the church, either"...­I went online to the Des Moines Register. NOTHING !!!

I called friends in the various areas of Iowa...NOT­HING !!!

If the media doesn't start covering this crackpots' views, on a much larger scale, he could be doing this country more harm than he already is !!!
