Joe Lieberman As McCain's Vice President?

Wall Street Journal:

There's been plenty of speculation since self-described Democratic-independent Sen. Joe Lieberman started stumping for Sen. John McCain in December that Al Gore's 2000 runningmate might reprise that role for his Republican friend.

McCain did little to dissuade Washington Wire of that notion. The Arizona senator was speaking Wednesday evening at town hall-style meeting at T-Bones Steakhouse and Saloon in Lake Wylie, S.C. (Atmosphere: various taxidermied critters on the wall, including a skunk.)

4 Reasons Why Lieberman Should be McCain's running mate: Mitt Romney, Rudy Guiliani, Mike Huckabee, Ron Paul. It's scary to contemplate but John McCain is the least worst Republican candidate running for President. I'm not sure what happened to his brain these last two years. He used to be an almost decent politician, as much as a Republican can be nowadays. On the face it Lieberman as a potential running mate seems absurd. Well, it is absurd, but then you look at who McCain could pick as a running mate. *shudder*
