Clinton And Obama Black Voters

New York Times:

The People's Voice African-American Weekly News in tiny Roanoke, Ala., has not endorsed a candidate in the state's Democratic presidential primary on Feb. 5 -- much to the frustration of its publisher, Charlotte A. Clark-Frieson, a Barack Obama supporter.

"I'm trying to get ready to endorse him, but my board is so split," Ms. Clark-Frieson said.

The repubs are smacking their lips, hoping Obama beats Hillary to a fair-the-well. They will hit him with everything that matters, his church, his shady real estate deal, this dispicable union manipulation. Does anyone here believe that the repubs arent praying he is the candidate?

The traitorous mainstream American media loves division, confusion and confrontation. Its great T.V. and its pathetic.

I hope the Democratic Party grows some strategic brain and backbone to use this evil media to thier advantage just as the republicans have for years now.

I have said this for days with no one listening, I campaigned in SC for Se. Obama and found African Americans to be very astute in their choices. The media declaring Obama a winner, simply because he is black and 50% of the Democratic Party is African American, is racist in and of itself. The people I spoke with were planning to vote on the issues, not race. However, on the flip side, many of the white voters, were polarizing to vote against Sen. Obama simply because of his race.

People need to just stop listening to anything the media has to say, jsut turn the TV off!

I like Obama and will vote for him. One of the things I like about him is that when he is asked a question, he listens and answers it. With Clinton, oozing with phoniness, you can see the wheels whirring in her brain about how to suck up, duck or otherwise skirt the truth. I am so sick of this and hope the Clinton tactics don't fool South Carolina.

Finally.

Someone other than tight-ass rich white men who've been fucking up this country for the last 200-plus years gets a chance.

And some people think that is bad??!

This is the Clintons' strategy and the NYT is now falling for it. They want to get everybody taking about race to turn off white people who were considering voting for Obama. They know if they pull the white people towards Hillary and push blacks to Obama they will win the nomination. It's just a matter of mathematics.

Shameful, really. But it's standard procedure for the Clintons. I figured out what they were made of after the Joycelyn Elders incident and refused to vote for him in 96. It's all about triangulation. Retaining power at all costs. Who needs principles?

Obama appeals to both races and the Clintons are trying to make this about race. Why can't blacks see that. Please do not trust this dog and pony show they are so desperate to get back in power, they think they can bully people into giving them the keys to the white house.
BTW: Clinton has a heart condition and he is so angry all the time that Hilly should start worrying.

Vote for who you like.. I am AA and I am voting for Obama. I like the fact that he is willing to listen to both sides of the isle and make a sound judgment on any issue. Secondly with Obama on the ticket dems have a chance of picking up more seats by winning southern states and helping down ticket democrats win because of the large AA communites here in the south.

Look for the polls to again miss the actual numbers by a more than significant amount in South Carolina. Due to concerns about not wanting to appear to be against solidarity, African American dare not say they aren't voting for Obama. And, for fear of appearing to be prejudice, white liberals will not say they don't support Obama. Obama's numbers will turn out to be inflated by more than 5%. In fact, the lying may be so common that Clinton comes within a couple of percent.

We black folk gotta vote for Hillary cause it aint time for a black man to be president! Black man can't be president. They say so. Hillary helped break up welfare. They say that good for poor women and children. So black folks gotta vote for Hillary. She done send our factory jobs to China. That good for the black man and the black women. So we gotta vote for Hillary. She done send our boys to war in Iraq and some she sent to jail for drugs. We gotta vote for Hillary. It aint time for a black man to be president. They say so. We black folk do what they tell us to do.

blacks have a chance to vote in one of their own?

How do you figure he's one of "yours"? He's just as much white as he is black, maybe more white.

What does Obama have in common with most black Americans? Most are not 1/2 white. Most were not raised by whites and most can only dream of the opportunities he's been afforded.

Wait a minute, if all the Blacks where for Obama people would be screaming about how racist Blacks are! Look, if some Blacks think Hillary will do more for them what's the problem? People vote for who the think will do the most for them!

A lot of you ask why african americans like the Clintons, and ask what the Clintons ever did for them. I found this article from 2002 that I think is very enlightening as to their symbiotic relationship.
