Mitt trys to play the word game with the reporter and loses. What a putz. When that fails Mitt sends over one of his toadies to try and beat down the reporter, that also fails. Again, what a putz. Can you say loser???? Love it!!!!

Oberman covered this tonight and the pissing contest kept on going even after Romney's handlers ended the campaign stop. Romney wouldn’t leave the store, it put me in mined of stagehands trying to pull a bad performer off the stage with a cane. He kept on smiling though and his hair was perfect.

So, acting "professionally" as a reporter has come to mean not asking the hard questions. If that is the case, then reporters are no longer needed in any capacity. The candidates can just release their clips and nobody is allowed to press them when they are being dishonest because doing so is "not professional". Wow! Orwell; 1984.

OMG, an actual REAL REPORTER?!
How the hell did that happen?
Where did he come from?
Where does that guy work?
A reporter actually acting like
a Reporter.
This guy should get an award from
his professional peers - and I don't mean his "equals" because a reporter asking a real question is a rarity in this country now.
And here's a basic difference between the Rs and the Ds: Ds are taking and answering questions in abundance and in detail. Rs tell REAL REPORTERS not to "argue" with the candidate.
And, finally, some dim bulb SOUTHERN bitch says the Reporter rude!!

Mitt immediately acknowledged that a lobbyist, identified as Ron Kaufman, has sat in on many meetings and given advice. But he distinguishes, Beth Meyers, the person actually "running” his campaign, from an unpaid friend and advisor, Ron Kaufman.

Mitt stated that Mr. Kaufman does not sit in senior strategy meetings. Although pressed repeatedly, Mitt did not recant. He simply stated, "Insiders do not run my campaign..." But is that supposed to mean he doesn't listen to them?

People with little or no business experience apparently do not know what it means to "run" a business. Some people are so used to being managed by others that I suppose it could be difficult for them to understand the difference. Does this reporter "run" the company he works for? Or if you visited a foreign country and asked a friendly native for local information, would you say your visit was managed or “run” by someone else?

I see this all as the result of a trigger-happy "gotcha" seeker; if he's been with the campaign from the beginning, he’s waited a long time.

romney has learned from bush that if you look straight into the camera and say one thing, its ok to deny you said it or say the opposite the next day - as long as you say it with conviction.

the media and public wont notice.

an unpaid consultant - that suspiciously sounds like it well could be a lobbyist. politicians dont pay lobbyists.
lobbyists pay politicians.

I trust romney as much as I trust that current freak in the White House!

Mitt shouldnt play fast and lose with word games if he doesn't want to be called on it. The lobbyist is PART of the campaign and Mitt wants to act like it isn't true because he didn't go to a meeting...is it supposed to be better that they are 'friends' and he gives Mitt advice. I worry more now that I know it's closer than if he just was as employee, because that means they talk alone, not at meetings with witnesses.

So he doesn't allow Washington lobbyists to run his campaign but he allows them to advise his campaign... What a deceiving superficial mannequin this guy is...

Check out Bill Moyer's show on PBS the week before last. Moyer's had a segment on the South Carolina "consultant" who was in the Bush camp in the 2000 primary. He and his minions conducted "push-polls", calling S.C. voters and asking them how they felt about McCain's "black baby". The implication was that McCain had fathered an out-of-wedlock bi-racial child. In fact, his daughter was an orphan, adopted from Bangladesh, at the urging of Mother Teresa.

Moyers says Mitt has hired this same slimy "consultant" for HIS South Carolina primary. Aren't we weary of these slimy rich boys who claim to be so pious, but have sold America's soul for oil?! The press needs to get off it's knees and challenge these over privileged legacy candidates at every turn.
