Romney and an AP reporter had words over the candidate's statement that lobbyists aren't running his campaign at an event in Columbia, S.C. The reporter interupted to point out that Ron Kaufman, a senior advisor, is a lobbyist.

Glen Johnson is a little fat hack. Maybe he should lose a few pounds.

More disturbing than lobbyists are the Blackwater consultants in Romney's campaign. Cofer Black is his main security adviser. Also Blackwater is putting up money for his campaign, probably to increase their involvement in the US government here at home. Really scary stuff after what Blackwater did to the people of Iraq.

Sniff! Do I smell pants on fire?
Noun 1. lying - the deliberate act of deviating from the truth http://www.thefreedictionary.com/lying

Now when Mitt says lobbyist do not run his campaign, what he really wants people to think is that there are no lobbyist working for him. Which in fact is lying. There really needs to be jail time for press secretaries that interfere with a journalist constitutional right of freedom of the press. When a candidate such as Mitt tries to manipulate the press and tell a bold face lie, it is a journalist job to call him on it end of story. The press is not there to be Mitt buddy and just spew out what ever he says as a fact (unless you work for Fox). Suck it up weennie, when you get caught. Do what is a tenate among most people of faith, tell the truth.

Troll, troll, troll, troll

I wish we had had more "rude" reporters in the run up to the war.

Romney is a phony. His followers are phonies.

His religion is phony, his family is phony, his policies are phony, his philosophy is phony and his smile is phony.

He's George Bush only crazier and phonier.

No thanks.

Fair enough.

If that's the criteria ...

Hillary's campaign is being run by a guy guilty of destroying classified documents.

Wow - imagine what would happen if a "reporter" pounded on Hillary Clinton on her relationship with Norman Hsu, or why when her car hit a policeman at an airport security checkpoint when she tried to run the checkpoint, she never bothered to check on the condition of injured policeman at the hospital?

Or imagine a reporter pounding on Bill Clinton. "But, Mr. President, just what was James Riady doing in the White House. Why did you lie about genocide in Kosovo? Mr. President (Helen Thomas), Why do you believe in killing innocent civilians - (bombing them).
Mr. President, why did your folks destroy the Landmark Choctaw Train station, just as the historians were getting close to obtaining protected historical landmark status?

Or, Mr. President, when your bubble collapsed in early 2000, millions of Americans lost their jobs, their healthcare, their life savings, their children’s college education funds, and the federal government was to be thrown deep into deficits as the tax revenue disappeared over night.

Or, Mr. President, why did you not lead, as President, in a historic effort like Bush is doing, to stop the spiraling out of control HIV/Aids pandemic in Africa during the 90's? Was it as "The Nation's" David Corn suggested, "It did not poll well?"

That reporter should get a promotion and a medal. Who was that guy that was telling him to stop being argumentative with the candidates? That obnoxious guy seems to forget that questioning and holding politicians accountable for their lies and their half-truths is what journalists are supposed to do. Reporters were not always the lap dogs of which ever politician was pounding the podium at the time.

Because that reporter actually did his job, we found out an important piece of information about Romney that we never would've known; he has lobbysts as advisors and he likes to play fast and loose with the facts.

Good stuff AP reporter.

See Mr. Reporter, it depends on what your definition of a lobbiest is...

If he's not being paid, he's not a lobbiest. He's just an "Advisor" get it? Of course if the industry he lobbies for, pays him handsomely while he hangs around Mitt, well, that's not important.

Give me a break.

What is more interesting?--the fact that a reporter did his job for once and you can see the reaction by Romney's guy ordering someone from the 'free' press to not be argumentative with the billionaire shill for the NWO in this here police state --- or---the fact that so many people, even here, who think of themselves as being intelligent, will surmise, that someone asking hard questions of a liar and pressing a liar, who by the way is trying to buy the WH, is somehow rude???

All you Mitt Romney fans seem to have lost sight of the fact that ROMNEY IS A REPUBLICAN and REPUBLICANS DON'T REALLY GIVE A SHIT ABOUT ANYONE WHO ISN'T INVOLVED IN CORPORATE AMERICA (and I'm not talking about employees). Romney, like the entire field of talking heads (both Dems & Reps) are going to say ANYTHING to get elected and once they're in office it will all change. George Bush made it an acceptable art form. It's called Leading by Deception.

This country wouldn't be in the deep trouble it is if there were more journalists like the AP reporter who persisted in trying to penetrate Romeney's obviously deceptive language. A rose is a rose is a rose. Or, conversely a scold is a scold is a scold. And who was the Romney aide with the audacity to lecture the reporter? Gutsy reporter, I salute you!

Come on folks. All of this semantic bs is beside the point. He is a republican which means big money which means lobbyists. We are in an age of backlash against these self centered monsters and enough is enough. Just vote democrat and get out of the argument. We can worry about cleaning up the democrats after the snake is dead.

The Press Secretary acted like a complete idiot. So much for freedom of the press, huh (i.e., "don't be argumentative with the candidate"). Give me a freaking break! Mitt, you're pathethic and so is your entire campaign!

Let's hope Mitt wins the republican nomination. That way the Democratic Party will be guaranteed a definite win.
