Hillary Clinton Tyra

Excerpts of Hillary Clinton's taped interview with Tyra Banks were released earlier this week, but the interview airs today on Tyra's show. In the interview, Hillary discusses, among other things, adultery. She tells Tyra that she had to "dig down hard" to get over the Monica Lewinsky affair of ten years ago, but that she "never doubted Bill's love" or her "faith and commitment" to Chelsea and their extended family.

Other takeaways: she admits to being embarrassed by the scandal but says, "I was just praying so hard and thinking so hard about what's right to do that I couldn't get anything else interfere with that. The momentary feelings — you know, you're mad, you're really upset, you're disappointed, all of that goes through your mind — but I have found you really shouldn't make decisions in the heat of those moments."

And though scorned women come up to her everywhere asking for advice "all the time," she counsels: "no one story is the same as any other story...what I can tell you is that you must be true to yourself."

This is a dead issue. We have already learned:

Bill Clinton is a liar who didn't mind letting his wife make a fool of herself on TV supporting the lies he told her. And he had no problem looking directly into a TV camera, saying he was innocent, and attacking Monica Lewinsky (a.k.a. "that woman" because Bill does NOT respect women). He had no problem calling journalist Christiane Amanpour "madame" and acting like she had no right to ask him about his wishy-washiness regarding Bosnia.

The guy got elected on a vow to bring us health care. He is a failure. The economic boom of the early 1990s would have occurred no matter who was in office. Bill's contribution? Support of NAFTA, which turned out SO WELL.

It is time for CHANGE, and I am not afraid.

Bring it.

NO matter how hard she tries...we just don't buy it. The real reason she "stayed" is that she needed to ride his coat-tails to the White House..and, as usual, she isn't going to tell the truth about it.

It's getting harder and harder to distiguish between the Clinton hating left and the Clinton hating right. From the sound of the rhetoric coming out of both these camps, it appears that Hillary may just be the centrist president this country needs to actually get something done.

Clintoon's legacy - Former impeached president, disbarred lawyer, best known for leaving a 'stain' on a Bimbo's dress. Dingbat wife accused husband's girlfriends of being part of a vast right wing conspiracy.
Still want to vote for Hillary?

Looks like the Clinton haters on this site failed again. Keep trying. You and the GOP could even get together and exchange ideas. That might help.

I wish the Clintons would take their Soap Opera lives and go home.......leave us alone. I am sick to death of all that surrounds them. They are such "victims"... but at their own doing. Maybe if Hillary isn't elected (fingers crossed), she could spend her days on the Daytime - Soap Opera, Talk Show, Game Show circuts....promoting her "victimhood", "feel sorry for me"....platform. OR she could step out of the limelight, and simply "get a life", and give us a break.

Most of these posts are ridiculous. I can't believe you people are actually judging someone you don't know as if you do or as if you have a right to. At the end of the day, these are still two married HUMAN BEINGS with a daughter that they love and care about. They have to wake up next to each other everyday, speak to each other everyday, they have a past together, etc., and for anyone to sit on the other end of a computer screen and say they DON'T like someone simply because they CHOSE to keep their family together is pathetic. There is no RIGHT way to handle infidelity. It Sen. Clinton's life, and she chose the path right that is right for her. Get a freakin' grip people. Infidelity is NOT the end of life.

As a member of the United Methodist Church, I see Hillary Clinton's responses as those of a good UMC adherent. Bill has things that he must do, and it seems as though he has done them. Divorce is not something to be taken lightly, and the Clintons appear to be working together for both a better marriage and other goals. They produced one of the best behaved public eye daughters around.

I see this discussion as uniquely about the infidelity/sex scandals and how they will impact the candidacy of Hillary Clinton. Obviously there are Clinton supporters here...who are trying hard to support their candidate and deflect this issue.

I believe that the Clinton supporters fall into a couple of categories

1) Those that see the Lewinsky affair as a singular event that was a highly politicized attack on Bill from the right wing. So what...JFK cheated on Jackie...Boys will be boys...Let's get back to issues.

2) Those that are driven to support the first woman presidency. It's not about Bill...it's about Hillary...don't other woman get it!

3)Those that feel like Monica etc. are sniveling whiners that were only looking for fame etc..so they got what they deserved...case closed.

4) Those see see this as an attack from other democrats who are motivated by the singular mission of supporting their candidate. They'll do or say anything to win...they're just playing dirty politics.

I get why you're here. I'm a democrat too. What does a BJ have to do with the presidency? If Larry Craig was an openly gay-democrat..I don't think the bathroom incident would have destroyed his career...I think democrats would say..Get a Room Larry...

I believe the denial of the validity of sex scandals as a "real issue" regarding a candidate is a "uniquely liberal" progressive point of view.

I think it's a mistake to assume that it will be a "nonissue" in the general. It just won't come up or that you will successfully just negate or "shout down" other "voter's beliefs" as "stupid" or "without value" or "merit". Republicans, Independents, the Evangelical Movement will get a vote.like it our not..you can't just silence them..

So Clinton supporters..I'd recommend you take note...you may staunchly disagree with this issue....but you may find it helpful to understand what your campaign and all dems will be up against in the general should Clinton win the nomination.

Prepare for that!

Marc: Hillary they are killing you on the blogs about Bill’s you know what?

Hill: Damn it Marc, speak English.

Marc: Blog posters are bringing up the other women in Bill’s life.
Hillary: Tell them to get in line…So are you trying to tell me that we need to counteract this?

Marc: Yes. We need to do something early to offset the bashing.

Hill: The general? Oh, I thought Obama had that won.

Marc: Get serious Hillary! You are getting no sympathy and they are beating the crap out of Bill. Some of your black supporters are seem very mad.

Hillary: No Tonto!... Bill’s black supporters are turning on him. So will I if he brings me another black friend who cannot stay on message.

Marc: Look, I have an idea…you are booked on the Tyra Banks show…Why don’t you talk about the subject there. You are in New York; you are talking to a young entrepreneurial black woman. We did some background on Tyra and she has a strong relationship with her mother…so we figure she won’t be terribly rude.
She’s smart, but she is not Katie, Barbara or Diane when it comes to nailing you to the wall. You just jump in and out talk her …we’ll give you a script, so you hit all the talking points and you end it when you feel like it. This is an urban audience of mostly Latin and black young women. They like what Tyra likes and if she likes you, you walk out a winner. We will have made the statement for the media and shouldn’t have to revisit this for awhile.

Hillary: Fine…get the script to me yesterday and am I going to have to dance or do a hand slap on this show? I have dug down as deep as I can for my girlfriend shtick …got no more left.

Marc: No you can bypass that on this show…but I wouldn’t take Bill…Tyra’s one of the former Victoria Secret Super models.

Hillary: I’d be surprised if he isn’t already there when I arrive.

Bill affairs post-WH will sink Hil in the GE:

Clinton seen with new blonde

Mark Coleman In New York

BILL Clinton’s chequered love life became the source of fresh speculation yesterday after he was spotted with yet another blonde.

The former US president is reported to have shared an intimate dinner with Belinda Stronach, a married business woman.

According to reports, Mr Clinton, 56, wined and dined Ms Stronach, 35, the head of an international car parts company, in Toronto.

The pair have apparently struck up a cosy friendship and were caught embracing at the end of the evening.

"Clinton gave her a peck on the cheek before she got into her car," the New York Post reported. Another tabloid, the Daily News, pronounced that the two "had dinner and were seen embracing before they parted".

The papers said that the couple appeared to be fairly close, exchanging fond glances as they walked around the city.

Mr Clinton, who was in Toronto for a party honouring the musician Ronnie Hawkins, who has been diagnosed with cancer, twitched awkwardly with his mobile phone after realising that he and Ms Stronach, who was wearing a black dress and diamond necklace, were being followed by photographers.

The revelations are bound to renew consternation between Mr Clinton and his wife Hillary, to whom he has been married for 26 years.

Four months ago Mr Clinton was linked with another blonde socialite, Lisa Belzberg, 38, who is also a Canadian.

Clinton linked with wealthy socialite

THE tangled love life of Bill Clinton was again under the microscope yesterday when he was romantically linked with a glamorous blonde.

A magazine photo showed the former president of the United States in an intimate pose with the Canadian socialite Lisa Belzberg, 38.

They were photographed by Newsweek in front of a refrigerator at her mansion in Katonah, New York. It rekindled long-standing speculation about the pair, who have been spotted together at a number of functions over the past year.

According to the New York Post, Ms Belzberg, a millionairess separated from her husband, the Seagram alcohol heir Matthew Bronfman, about a month ago following a liaison with Mr Clinton.

...

"Friends were stunned to see the photo of Clinton in front of Lisa’s stainless steel Sub-Zero refrigerator with Jonathan Alter’s cover story on the ex-president," the paper reported. The article claimed Mr Clinton and Ms Belzberg were involved in an encounter last month.

"She was seen flirting with Clinton at the Super Bowl party he hosted in his Harlem offices," it added. At the time Mr Clinton joked of his relationship with Ms Belzberg: "She married a guy worth $6 billion, but she still likes to flirt with me."

A spokeswoman for Ms Belzberg, who runs the educational organisation PENCIL , insisted that she has not been involved in another relationship since her split from Mr Bronfman. "There is no-one else," she said bluntly.

According to 6/12/02 Page Six of the New York Post: WHATEVER there was between Lisa Belzberg and Bill Clinton, it appears to be over. Belzberg, the brainy blonde behind the PENCIL nonprofit group that helps the public school system, was rumored to be more than friends with the former president, who lives just 10 minutes away from the mother of two in Westchester. "She's heartbroken," said one source.
