Sen. Barack Obama says he's ready to confront former President Bill Clinton, calling his advocacy on behalf of his wife's presidential campaign, "troubling."

In an exclusive interview with ABC News' Robin Roberts to air Monday on "Good Morning America," Obama, D-Ill., directly engages Bill Clinton on a series of issues.

"You know the former president, who I think all of us have a lot of regard for, has taken his advocacy on behalf of his wife to a level that I think is pretty troubling," Obama said. "He continues to make statements that are not supported by the facts -- whether it's about my record of opposition to the war in Iraq or our approach to organizing in Las Vegas. This has become a habit, and one of the things that we're gonna have to do is to directly confront Bill Clinton when he's making statements that are not factually accurate."

besides washington, rr is my favourite president. I highly recommend Prof. john patrick diggins' book on him. read about american founding father john witherspoon at the top of www.darrellepp.com. Obama's taking the heat pretty gracefully, considering how brutal and merciless the clinton machine is.

Metamorphosis states that leaders are made by destiny. "Leaders" and others seek presidency of U.S.A.

I believe Obamadom has come not because of Obama precisely but because of the hand of the Almighty on history. World history and national history here in U.S.A.
Once in a lifetime, once in a political season, comes a rising star like Barack Obama. And perhaps it is not an accidental that forty yeas after the assassination of MLK Jr. the star appears__ of African ancestry and European ancestry, born an American off the mainland, not from the rural South, not from the urban North, but Hawaii.
That he is a genius of a politician, administrator, motivator Barack Obama has proven by mounting a campaign that turned back the Hillary, Billary "shoe in."
Young. Talented. Ready. The content of Barack Obama's character, the capacity of his intellect, the audacity of his Hope scares and affronts some, but others__all kinds of Americans__walk with him in hope and faith.

Bill has had his two terms. Disguised as Hillary, yet Bill seeks a third term. (Hillary claims deficit busting know-how as if she were Bill in the '90s.) But the '90s are the past, so let the good and bad of the Clintons go down in history.

Go America! Go Obama! You are changing the face of American politics and voters. (I knew I would never vote for Hillary, but I could not say I would vote for Barack either until I began to listen, read, learn about the Obama campaign. Civics 101 Live!)

Destiny, yes! Barack Obama stands on the shoulders of Martin Luther King Jr. who sought the day when all Americans would be judged by the content of the character and not the color of the skin.

Hillary and Bill Clinton, former first lady, former president, have been coming tooth, claw and fang after Barack Obama since New Hampshire caucuses. . . . .
What is a young, gifted, ready, and gentlemanly presidential hopeful like Barack Obama to do?

If you are offended by Hillary and Bill's dirty politic attacks on Obama or their outright lying about the issues then please email the Democractic National Committee and let them know.

IF HILLARY WINS THE NOMINATION AND YOU"D RATHER VOTE REPUBLICAN OR NOT AT ALL in the general election then email the DNC and let them know. We can actually force the DNC to support Obama if they know we will not vote for slick Hillary in November. DO SOMETHING. Let YOUR voices be heard.

If Barack Obama is so afraid of Bill Clinton he should have waited until 2016 to run. He would have had some experience and he would still be young enough.

If anyone thinks Senator Obama should not defend himself against the "Clinton"s ATTACK" machine, just remember what happened to the last democratic candidate who ran for President (John Kerry) who thought he could rise above this sort of politics, he was "swift boated" straight back to the Senate.

It's just amazing how loved the Clintons are -- you really see this in public.

I saw people actually dropping to their knees and licking the ground that Hiallry had walked on -- it was so awesome!!

We might as well save ourselves a lot of trouble and time and just give the Presidency to McCain now. If Obama is the nominee, his past drug use and some other really nasty stuff (already on some video sites) is going to be revealed. Timmy Russert, Chris Matthews, Andrea Mitchell--they're trying to get Obama nominated and then they'll release the anti-O info!!

The MEDIA is trying to get Obama Nominated!! But they are McCain/Huckabee people!
Did you see Timmy on the post Clinton Nevada win? He was talking about Clinton going door to door in South Carolina in black neighborhoods and he said, "South Africa!"--there was a gasp on the set. Talk about a comedy! Timmy's face was redder than red.
What a Freudian slip! This proves Timmy is a BIGOT!! Both Timmy Russert and Chris Matthews were regular call-ins to their friend Don Imus on the IMUS radio/tv show. Finally it comes out were there heads are REALLY at. Timmy and Chris (and Andrea Mitchell)should be off the air. Timmy asked Obama timid questions so he could help his campaign and "get Hillary." Timmy and Chris and their friends would much rather run against Obama. What a laugh their most recent panels were with all the women on them and Chris sucking up to the women to "make up" for the fact that Emily's List "outed" him. And even after Chris' so called "apology," last night he offered to "get" Cristie Brinkley for David Shuster rather than get tickets for the next Billy Joel concert!!

How can American's be so stupid?

The only living president - make that politician - to be impeached for obstruction of justice and lying under oath; the man who went on national television and lied to all of America (I did not have sex...) is now some beacon of truth, justice and the American way and is capable of giving an honest assessment of Obama?

The man who had 5 documented ex-marital affairs is somehow morally qualified to dis Obama?

This is more absurd than the stock market!

If you buy Bill Clinton's buushit, I have a deal for you....

With all due respect to Senator Obama, every candidates spouse is on the campaign trail and always has been...it just so happens that this is the first time we've seen a former President in the role of the spouse...which of course puts more media coverage into the mix. However, Bill Clinton is rallying and challenging Senator Obama just like all the other spouses only Senator Obama is lashing back not at Hillary Clinton, but Bill Clintons legacy and I think THAT is what is inappropriate. I also think it's a bit self-serving and may be a little ploy to rally the anti-Clinton vote. If he doesn't like the challenge, then he should address Hillary's record, not Bill Clinton's. Bill Clinton should be treated like any other spouse that is rallying...it would be just as inappropriate for Hillary to start lashing back at the other candidates careers. I think Senator Obama has a lot to offer but I don't think Senator Obama is without fault here. I'd like for him to explain some of his visions too, because when he speaks..I hear a lot of statistics about the horrible state of the country and his rallying up the "hope" speech..but I'm not hearing any definitive actions. We already had a cheerleader for 8 years..it didn't do very much for our country. I hope people don't get too caught up in the rally and wind up with nothing more than a pair of pom poms. This election has to be about records and ability and knowledge...liking the candidate on a personal level...is neither here nor there..we need them to lead the Country not hang out with us on a Friday night. I wish them all luck.
