Edwards Hopes What Happens In Vegas Stays In Vegas

ABC News:

ABC News' Raelyn Johnson reports: Democratic presidential hopeful John Edwards has summed up a disappointing performance in the Nevada caucuses, saying, "This is one of those times that I hope the old saying, 'what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas,' turns out to be true. We'll see what happens."

The former No. Carolina senator finished a distant third behind Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., and Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., garnering only 4 percent of the vote. He did not pick up any delegates.

"I think the other candidates spent enormous amounts of money, and we didn't. It was a caucus process ... they were there for a long time organizing," said Edwards, in Greenville, S.C.

If electing a woman or a Black were the only thing that mattered, then Condi Rice is your candidate. Obviously, If the candidate's platform on the issues is the most important, then John Edwards is the most progressive and populist.

Obama and Hillary have tremendous negatives and are quite conservative. Either one of them could lose to John McCain or to Mitt Romney. Playing the gender or the race card might get a Republican elected. Bets anyone?

John Edwards is right, organized capital is ripping you off if you are in the lower 90% of income. Feeling the pain? Hillary and Obama will not keep your jobs over here. So play your own gender or race card and vote against your own economic interests and wonder where your job or your kids' jobs went.

The biggest embarrassment and most troubling finding of the Edwards campaign is that his internet supporters seem intent on couching the candidate himself and his campaign in a racist light. Edwards has been complimentary of Obama and each time given the choice to align himself has chosen Obama over Clinton. Edwards seems verbablly to make clear that he wants to be president but given the choice between only Clinton and Obama, he would choose Obama everytime. However, all over the internet Edwards supporters lie, distort, and mischaracterize against Obama and uplift Billary; this obviously divides on the line of race for Edwards supporters as their hate for all things Black won't allow them to even trust their candidate enough to follow his opinions and his so-called leadership. Then again it may be one of the cases where Edwards says one thing publicly and then uses his surrogates and supporters to express his true view, which would explain why they so giddily support the Clintons who are also diabolical. Birds of a feather flock together. Edwards' birds seem to flock overwhelmingly towards the Clintons' amoral campaign of divisiveness.

As someone that has no choice but to work for a living, John Edwards is the only one I will vote for. This man understands what it is like to get up everyday with one mission, to put a roof over your children heads and food on the table. He wants to FIGHT for our right to hand over a better life for our children. The wealthy in this country do not want this man in the white house. They are giving more money to Hillary this year then to the repucks. This should say it all.

Edwards/Obama in 08 We can have 16 years of the white house working for the working class.

It is misleading to state that John Edwards only won 4% of the vote in Nevada. He did not meet the viability test in many precincts and thus his supporters had to go to their second choices, largely Clinton.

The Democratic Party does not release the raw vote total.

To date, we have had two caucus with bizarre and arcane rules and one open primary. We won't have a closed primary until February 5th. As much as I appreciate independents coming to vote in our primaries, I do not believe that independents are voting based on substance but rather on style. It would be hard for someone who is committed to the Democratic Party to vote for Obama's energy policy or his healthcare proposals. They smack of Republican ideas.

I prefer all liberals and other committed American voters who truly want a breath of fresh air of mirth and truth to support John Edwards instead of Barack Obama.

Obama is a bad loser.

He does not respect the Democratic Party and he does not respect his fellow Democratic presidential candidates.
He is very bitter against Hillary Clinton and John Edwards, because he is scared that after the South Carolina primary, he is likely going to lose in the remaining states to Hillary Clinton and John Edwards.

According to CNN, the 'total' amount of Democratic delegates counted as of this day is, '92.' Right?

Edwards has 18 of the 'total of 92.' Right?

18/92 = 0.1956 x 100 = 19.56% Right?

John Edwards has 19.56% of the total Democratic delegate count as of today. Right?

John Edwards is still a viable candidate in this race, no matter how much idiotic mumbo-jumbo the kool-aid drinkers in the 'other camps' --OR-- M$M may try to laughably spin the facts.
