And she admitted she had just popped six VALIUM pills to "bring myself down".

Amy's spiral of self-destruction was revealed in a harrowing video filmed at her East London home and seen by The Sun.

Perhaps if people were aware that this girl should be in rehab --really, really, really needed to be in rehab-- the song would have not have been so celebrated ....

Does no one understand that addiction is an illness? The only difference between Winehouse, Britney and the rest is that they are in the papers. Most addicts surround themselves with people who "yes" them to death, literally, especially when they (the addicts) are picking up the tab. Why not blame their friends for not helping them? It's 2008, people, and we need to rally 'round these addicts while they try to beat the monster known as addiction. Calling them "crack whores" only shows how nasty and small you are.
