I've always said that it's our leaders who have the ideological differences with our enemies but refuse to talk with them, while the foot soldiers doing the fighting on both sides would probably be friends if given a neutral setting like a college, or a sports league.

Does anybody care to ask the son of Bin Laden whether he knows for sure that his father is alive and when was the last time he spoke with him? It is a given that he is not going to reveal his father's whereabouts. That much is clear. However, the question still prevails, does his son know that his father is alive and has he recently spoke with him? He can at least confirm such.

I couldn't agree more. Osama SHOULD talk to Bush -- and here's my suggestion for what he should say: "Please, please stop jumping up and down on my windpipe! And, what are you going to do with that sword???"
