Rudy Giuliani has hit the skids in a Florida freefall that could shatter his presidential campaign and leave a two-man Republican contest in the state between John McCain and Mitt Romney, a Miami Herald poll shows.

Despite hovering over Florida voters for weeks, Giuliani is tied for third place with the scarcely visible Mike Huckabee in a statewide poll of 800 likely voters.

With his poll numbers slipping back home in the Northeast, Giuliani's campaign will implode if he can't turn it around in the six days left before Florida's Jan. 29 vote, the final gateway before a blitz of primaries around the nation that could sew up the race.

No one wants a drag queen for president, I guess the republicans finally woke up to that fact. If it would have been a democrat they would have been wide awake in the first second picking up pitch forks and torches getting ready to burn them at the stake.

I'm almost sorry Rudy is spiraling downhill. I was thinking how much fun it might be to have TWO first ladies in the White House.

Guiliani has suffered from the searing klieg lights of the media on a history as New York's mayor that was a bit bereft of the warm and fuzzies. Between the radio scandal, the mistress/wife, the fractured family relations and the constant invocation of 9/11, 9/11,... Enough already, deapite the fact that our MSM is a bit controlling we can see a goose-stepping monkey in an SS uniform a mile away..............

Now Rudy can continue his clandestine traveling on government money to his latest main squeeze. Good bye you two faced, fear mongering piece of crap

So Rudy is gone. I don't see that as anything to get particularly excited about, given the other Republican choices. McCain? Romney? Huckabee? Am I supposed to see one of them as a better alternative?

At least Rudy was willing to play a little "dress-up."

For those who care about our troops.
Not just the ones deployed now, but the hundreds if not thousands of US POW's, many of whom the whereabouts is known, that McCain actively fought to have us ignore them? Viet Nam Veterans have started a website, posting clips on youtube including old senate footage of McCain doing just that. 100yrs more in Iraq? Please no.
Ron Paul has promised to work to reverse McCains suppression of POW information and do everything to find our men over seas, as well as begin an immediately withdrawal of our troops from around the world, and secure our borders.

To many American voters, George W. Bush was a "wolf in sheep's clothing." For Rudy, on the other hand, what you see, is what you get. Apparently, Americans aren't buying what he is selling. Rudy is like the mold growing in the bathroom shower of a cheap motel. Please make it go away.

Rudy's broke. McCain's broke. Huck's broke. Romney isn't broke, but he's the most disliked Republican in the field. Who's left?

Oh yeah. Ron Paul. The guy who raised another $1.8 million over the internet on Monday without raising a finger.

I'll take Ron Paul over "100 years in Iraq" McCain, the king flip flopper:

I've seen his Florida ads, and McCain's are better. I hope Rudy has had a good time, and spent some money in Florida, and then will say, "good bye" to Florida and his campaign! - A Native Floridian

The more people see of Rude E the more they "like" him.

Still wonder how he let Mitt take the "most disliked candidate" crown from him.

Check Rudy's pockets when he leaves. Count the silverware.

Bad news for Rudy. Good news for humanity. A total repudiation of all he, and others who profit from 9/11, stand for
