James Carville And Paul Begala

Talking Points Memo:

Okay, this is interesting. I've just learned that CNN has told top Dem strategists James Carville, Paul Begala, and Robert Zimmerman -- who are CNN mainstays but are all Hillary supporters -- that they will not be doing any more political analysis on the network until the Democratic primary has reached a conclusion.

I'm also told that this move came after the Obama campaign repeatedly complained to high level officials at CNN about the presence of Carville and Begala on the network.

I hate those guys, by If Obama gets to take two people off of TV, why not Bill O'Reilly and
Shawn Hannity? They are both racists and a lot worse than Snake Man and The Forehead.

Intolerant, thin-skinned, whiner.

Time to toughen up, big-eared Barry.

I certainly hopes that this strategy will work on the Republicans should Obama be the nominee. Of course, this assumes the Republican may say something nasty about Obama so that he would call the networks involved with such disparaging statements and they will rush headlong and remove the analysts involved until after the election. Obviously, he should call FAUX right away and they will cower with fear.

I'm OK with the decision. But here's my observation... I've read Carville and Begala's books. I've watched them on television.

You'd have to be an idiot not to know what their history is... and they've never been people who denied what their career background and prior affiliations have been. It's not as if they're ever hid their alliances. That said, I've never witnessed them campaign for Hillary either -- when they've been asked on as analyst, they analyze and I haven't noticed any blatant bias in favor of one candidate. That said, really? It's Carville and Begala who are getting detention and not the other, obviously more divisive, opinionated, biased commentators and pundits? It's just a political move to deflect some of the juvenile fighting and avoid labels of being pro-Hillary. It's all bullshit.

Obama is such a whiner.

What about those 527s he complained about when one of those groups provided TV ads supporting Edwards's policies?

Whine. Whine. Whine.

CNN's decision just makes sense to me.

Look at it like this: What if Hillary wins, and she turns out to be as bad as some believe she might be?

How bad do you think CNN wants to get stuck with the label "Faux Faux News"?

But CNN has recently added William Bennett, who is so blatantly biased towards Romney, onto its political analyst staff.

Good for CNN !
How about MSNBC, taking the high road, or perhaps too much to ask. Mathews/Russert are anyting but objective. The duo shamelessly call themselves analysts..

Great! Now can we get Arianna banned as a pro Obama political analyst on all the networks?

Hey, that's nothing! Try posting even the slightest criticism of Star Jones on her column and you will be CENSORED.

Apparently huffingtonpost has made a deal with her that she writes her column and only sweet candy and haloes will be showered on her.

CNN = Clinton News Network, always has and always will be. EVerybody over there is a clinton supporter. With the exception of maybe John King, Gergen, who is probably really a supporter but is able to be objective most the time, John King seems to be the most fair person on CNN, but time will tell. They brought yellen in specifically because of her support. They even had the guy on this morning who filed a fake report for ABC sayin g Obama was irate...CNN is sick, unethical, and sad sad sad. All you who are against those two being kicked off, if it were no big deal, why are you guys crying like babies. Get back to work CNN staff.

Excellent! If you cannot be objective take a hike. Minus that you just end up looking like a shill; like my fellow posters here on HuffPo who made up their minds a year ago; current develoments be damned.

I think that's a wise move.

Both are definitions of 'Political Animals'.

NOW, if MSNBC could pry Buchanan's fingers off the refrigerator door in the Green Room where he lives, they JUST MIGHT join the ranks of 'objective news coverage'...(MAN, that place must smell rank of "Old Spice" by now....)
