James Carville And Paul Begala

Talking Points Memo:

Okay, this is interesting. I've just learned that CNN has told top Dem strategists James Carville, Paul Begala, and Robert Zimmerman -- who are CNN mainstays but are all Hillary supporters -- that they will not be doing any more political analysis on the network until the Democratic primary has reached a conclusion.

I'm also told that this move came after the Obama campaign repeatedly complained to high level officials at CNN about the presence of Carville and Begala on the network.

Typical Obama. Look at what he did to Alice Palmer when he first ran for the State Senate in Illinois.

From Sun-Times:

. Dirty politics is bad, unless he's the one playing it.
But in that initial bid for political office, Obama quickly mastered the bare-knuckle arts of Chicago electoral politics. His overwhelming legal onslaught signaled his impatience to gain office, even if that meant elbowing aside an elder stateswoman like Palmer.

From the Chicago Tribune

The day after New Year's 1996, operatives for Barack Obama filed into a barren hearing room of the Chicago Board of Election Commissioners.

There they began the tedious process of challenging hundreds of signatures on the nominating petitions of state Sen. Alice Palmer, the longtime progressive activist from the city's South Side. And they kept challenging petitions until every one of Obama's four Democratic primary rivals was forced off the ballot.

Fresh from his work as a civil rights lawyer and head of a voter registration project that expanded access to the ballot box, Obama launched his first campaign for the Illinois Senate saying he wanted to empower disenfranchised citizens.
But in that initial bid for political office, Obama quickly mastered the bare-knuckle arts of Chicago electoral politics. His overwhelming legal onslaught signaled his impatience to gain office, even if that meant elbowing aside an elder stateswoman like Palmer.

A close examination of Obama's first campaign clouds the image he has cultivated throughout his political career: The man now running for president on a message of giving a voice to the voiceless first entered public office not by leveling the playing field, but by clearing it.

On the one hand, they're both incompetent f***s. So good riddens for a while. But Obama's camp complains about them. But NOT ONCE do they say anything about censoring Kucinich from the last debate. Who by the way, even though he's now out of the race was STILL in the race at that point. But who gives a s**t, right?

Who gives a shit WHY? I'm just happy as a clam that this neo-liberal douchebag Carville has been banned from the semi-public air-waves. If the folks on this site had even half an idea of what he's tried to do on behalf of the corporations and their "Free Trade" agreements in South America, you'd take the rest of his body hair off...one hair at a time. This man is an ABOMINATION! Fer chrissakes, look who he's married to! Take ten mintues tomorrow and Google up "Carville and Trade in South America", poke around and see for yourselves.

Clinton News Network, is the biggest joke. They are talking none stop about the NY Times endorsement of Hillary and then they did this long detailed program on Obama's involvement with slumlord guy, and just did quick blurb on Hillary's involvement not even mentioning her biggest fraud case that is sitting in the court now and she is subpoenaed for it, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xq8aopATYyw

This should've been done long before they did that after-debate "analysis" awhile ago as supposedly neutral analysts

I think this is definitely fair. Analysts and journalists should be unbiased (unfortunately many are not). James Carville is a great political analyst but he wears his opinion on his sleeve and he's IN LOVE with the Clintons.

Whaaa?!

Are the other 97% of analysts who openly favor Obama and openly detest Hillary be banned too?

This is honestly really bizarre.

About freakin time! They had these guys as "impartial analysts" after one of the CNN debate.

Now they just need to identify Wolf Blitzer as "former Publicity Director of Israel Lobby" when he covers Middle East issues, Jimmy Carter, or Mersheimer & Walt.

FINALLY! It is about time they come to their senses. Do they think the public is that stupid that we cannot see who they are trying to manipulate the public into supporting. Good for you CNN. You may have just saved face.
