So much for the speculation that Hillary's arrival in South Carolina today meant that the campaign was reeling Bill back in.

They're replacing their negative radio ad with one narrated by the former president:

WJC: This is Bill Clinton. These are tough economic times. There aren't enough jobs, health care costs and gas prices are soaring, and now millions of people are worried about losing their homes.

Well, I guess she needs Bill to pull her across the finish line because Hillary is incapable of crossing it by herself - contrary to her self-laudatory statements.

I am not interested in having a 3rd Bill Clinton term, and I dislike and distrust Hillary.

So, basically, Hillary can't do it on her own. I understand your spouse speaking out on your behalf, but there's something very disturbing that Bill has to be the one to reach the people, because she cannot. He has to be the one to draw the crowds, because she cannot. He has the charisma, personality because she does not. They have to tell us and try and convince us there is a human, compassionate side of Hillary! WTF?

We have more faith in her abilities, because she is married to HIM. Who is she, really, by herself? If she didn't have Bill (a politician and not just a warm spouse by your side) to bounce ideas off of, develop plans and strategies, implement policies...would we really put all of this trust in her? What a scary thought? It's certainly more comforting knowing Bill is there as her back-up, but why is this acceptable?

One has to wonder if she was JUST a senator like Obama, would she be where she is today, or just another senator? And, if she was JUST Hillary Rodham, a girl from Park Ridge, Illinois, would she even be a senator from New York? Bottom line: She's nothing without Bill.

Bill Clinton has the Karl Rove ability to be negative even when he's being positive!

When's the last time he ever said anything positive about anyone other than Hillary?

Ooh Bill loves to dance a little sidestep, now they see him now they don't he's come and gone and, ooh he loves to sweep around the wide step, cut a little swathe and lead the people on!

An ad is not a "negative ad" just because your opponent doesn't like it.
People are intelligent enough to be able to tell the difference between comparing and contrasting candidate's positions, highlighting facts about an opponent (both which people seem to find acceptable), and lying or distorting the facts about an opponent (which people don't like).

If you are so convinced that the Clinton campaign is "going negative," instead of repeatedly calling them names, why don't they just let people look at the original statements and let them decide for themselves? Why don't they trust the voters to be able to tell the difference and do the right thing?

I think I was hasty to suggest this article is misleading and implies Hillary went negative with Bill. My apologies.

let's see: "They're replacing their negative radio ad with one narrated by the former president"

Is it just me or doesn't lead strongly imply that Bill's ad is negative?? And of course...it is completely positive.

And what story is directly below this misleading story? "Obama pulls his negative add"

Give me a break...the story should be..."both candidates go positive" (presuming Obama does more than simply stop negative).

Is it too much to ask for honesty in the media?

Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton dose not care about black people. They did not do nothing to help the black community. Tell me one thing. One!!!! I have compared both administration and the Clintons have not done anything special. Black people are stupid

Yep, bring down one ad full of lies and replace it with a racist ad. Bill talking about "blacks".

Imagine if Obama in Iowa made a commercial about how he cares about "poor white folks that live in trailers"

Senator Clinton did an interview on Michael Baisden this afternoon and she promised to stop with the negative attacks and focus on the issues¦looks like she is keeping her promise. Senator Obama will be on the show tomorrow for an interview and Michael B. is also going to ask him to do the same.
This is such a great idea b/c people are not getting the information that is important due to the media spinning everything and making a big deal out of stupid shit rather than important issues. This type of reporting is dividing the party which is just what the repiglacans want. I heard that yesterdays breaking news of the 935 lies was in the middle of LA Times-something like that should have been Front Page of all major newspaper (this is just hearsay so if I am incorrect I apologize) Is to much to ask for people to wake the fuck up?

She made her point. Besides, why keep paying to run it when the National media picked it up & spread it around the country - mission accomplished.

Spend the $$ wisely on another ad, in another State.

O.K., lets get a few things straight. In the debate, Hillary did not say that Obama said that Reagan had good ideas. She said "The facts are that he has said in the last week that he really liked the ideas of the Republicans over the last 10 to 15 years.." She never said "Reagan", but, Obama never said that he "liked" the ideas of the Republicains.
However, he did say that "I think it is fair to say the Republicans were the party of ideas for a pretty long chunk of time over the last 10, 15 years.." That does not cover the time that Reagan was in office. Reagan was last in office in Jan., 1989. That is 18 years ago. "10 to 15 years" ago was 1992-1997, most of those years Bill Clinton was in office.
That seemed to me like it was a direct attack on Bill Clinton. I don't see how Barack can say 23-24 million new jobs, low interest rates, PEACE!!!, and yada, yada, yada were brought about by non-ideas or no ideas by President Clinton.
See this link to see how the MSM spun Hillary's comments. http://www.dailyhowler.com/dh012308.shtml.

Also, I will, without a doubt, support Obama if he is the Democratic nominee. I will not, like so many Obama supporters have stated they would do, support a 3rd party or not vote. I remember what happened in 2000 when the far left were voting for Nader because they said that there wasn't a difference between Gore and Bush. Does anyone believe that hogwash now?!?!?

Now that the Clintons have stirred up the anti-black vote in South Carolina they are climing in the polls and have reduced Obama to a mere 10 percent of the white vote. Strom Thurmand and Jesse Helms would be proud of them.
