Dobbs: I'd Be A "Candidate Of Last Resort"

Lou Dobbs is too pissed off to be president.

Hell, he's too pissed off to moderate a presidential debate.

"It would probably be very annoying for me to bite my lip and not say anything," he says, reflecting on the Clinton-Obama food fight on CNN Monday night.

"I'd put it right there at a 9.5 on a scale of one to 10."

Wow. Invite a few illegal immigrants and he's sure to hit 12.

"I have strongly held views on a lot of issues," says the stentorian CNN anchor. (This just in!) "I would hate to have to constrain myself for two hours in a debate like that."

As for the fledgling "movement" to have Mr. Dobbs go to Washington as an independent, three words: Not Gonna Happen.

Labelling himself "a candidate of last resort," Dobbs says he lacks the temperament for the "nonsense" of a campaign.

"I'm too impatient with the blathering fools who make up the crowd that attends the political process," he says, sounding every byte a Harvard man.

Lou Dobbs is almost as arrogant as Fred Thompson (I'm still hearing the resounding sputter of his non-campaign fizzling out). He seems to think we would be particularly privileged if he deigned to run to save us all from the evil candidates with whom we are faced.

So, I say to Mr. Dobbs, "Shove it, Butthead!"

I cannot ever vote for a Republican, as they are the party of the wealthy and corporations, but in this upcoming election, I am not totally in sync with the Democrats either, as their position on “COMPREHENSIVE IMMIGRATION” defies all logic as a hard-working, struggling, middle class worker. Maybe, LOU DOBBS is the answer.

I am a left leaning, “Thinking”, American politically as my screen name indicates, and pride myself on forming opinions based on Fairness, Sound Reasoning and Facts. I do not bow down to any party dogma, and question positions by our so-called “leaders” that I feel are counterproductive to the American people – myself included, and one of these which I strongly disagree with is Amnesty for Illegal Immigrants.

I can't wrap my arms around this position, even though Leaders from both parties and the Media keep trying to convince us what a good idea it is – which, I Know it ISN’T. It strongly weakens our nation (particularly the struggling middle class) by placing a grave burden on our infrastructure, schools, medical care, welfare and even penal system, not to mention the spiraling down of our wages resulting from being replaced with cheap labor. To add insult to injury, we, the struggling middle class taxpayer will have to FURTHER support these entities as the Federal Government is not giving us a dime.

The only SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS benefiting from Illegal Immigration are the Employers who hire them and the WHORE Politicians who are looking to gain their votes. As a beaten-up member of the increasingly shrinking middle class, I say ENOUGH is ENOUGH.

Everything’s going up Except my wages, so I think I’ll take a Pass on “Comprehensive Immigration”.
