Bill Clinton just staged a passionate defense of his wife here, after a voter asked how Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton could unite this country when it is so split, politically and racially, and when she is such a polarizing figure.

The question unleashed an attack against the Republicans and an unusual assertion that Mr. Clinton had somehow escaped those attacks (has he forgotten so quickly?); he said he understood the right-wing bullies because he grew up with them. And he said that when they "didn't have me to kick around anymore," they went after his wife...

... He also said that Mrs. Clinton had worked with Republicans, including Senator Lindsay Graham, Republican of South Carolina.

And then he painted this scene: "She and John McCain are very close," he said. "They always laugh that if they wound up being the nominees of their party, it would be the most civilized election in American history and they're afraid they'd put the voters to sleep because they like and respect each other."

"Bill Clinton: Hillary-McCain Would Be 'Most Civilized Election In American History'"

Why, because they both work for the very same employers. Bush/Cheney, McCain or Clintonista - they are all the same gang.

That will be a boring election for sure. I suspect, however, Bill may have calculated that FL is very close and any praise of McCain coming from him coupled with NYT will seriously endanger McCain's calculation. Maybe I think too much or maybe just maybe Bill is the Machiavelli that he is made out to be.

They shoulod get along fine. They are both Liberals. If MacCain gets the nomination he would lose to any Democrat becasue the Right will not support him and his Liberal ideas.

This night i watched 360 for 5 minutes,
there were 2 white persones and 2 persones of color with Anderson Cooper.
Whites were republicans and colored were progressives.
So he asked progressives about somebody, who named Bill Clinton first black president.
First guy ansvered, that it isn't true, and black writer ,who named Bill Clinton First Black American President, did disservice for people of color and shame on him.
Then woman continied telling that only in one it may be true, becouse Clinton eat junk food and chited on his wife.
Than all of them laughed.
I don't know ,why those two white republicans laughted becouse of ansvers,or becouse of stupidity.
I could think about republicans,who just laughted,whatever i want,but
what to think about this to progressives?

Bill Clinton is a very sick and very dangerous man.

His problem, and that of his wife, Hillary, is that they both suffer from extreme cases of narcissism. They both exhibit fits of barely uncontrolled rage, they fake emotions to manipulate others, they are serial liars, and they are relentless in attacking anyone who stands in their way.

And what are people standing in their way of? Fulfilling their ambitions -- it's that simple. Narcissists believe that whatever is tops on their agenda -- with the Clintons it's the acquisition of power -- is all that's important. Not how many lives they wreck in attaining their goals, not how down-and-dirty they have to get to reach them -- the end always justifies the means.

It's really sad when you think about it. I used to admire the Clintons, and even considered voting for Hillary, but I realize now that I was just taken in by two very good con artists who suffer from debilitating personality disorders.

I don't want anyone that dangerously impaired in the WH. And I certainly don't want a pair of obviously imbalanced individuals running the country. We have that now in George Bush and Dick Cheney.

Bill's not making much sense these days.

He answers the lady's question about how Hillary is going to unite the country by saying HE grew up with these mean 'ol bullies and knows how to handle them, and Hillary has a lot scar tissue too.

FAILURE!!!

Question: Do you think Bill will behave himself as first hubby?

We 'Obamanistas' or 'Obamians' as you insists on calling us; don't hate Hillary. We just don't like the tactics her campaign has found necessary to of WINNING at any Cost.
I have an enormous respect for Hillary. But if it's necessary to destroy your political adversaries thru lies; half-truths and bullshit something is horribly wrong. What is the real difference in have a woman president and having our 44th man ? I want more than a rhetorical swing of a virtual cock, a pair of imaginary balls in a pantsuit with a face adorned with Maybelline.
Dear Hillary,
When you in your own right are actually worthy of this office; with your intellect, experiences and network of associates and advisors; this should be enough to for you to convince us the YOU deserve to win this. If you can not convince us that this is why you should be our chief executive; then something is wrong. With woman making up the larger share of our electorate we can't blame misogyny.
If you are truly worthy; you wouldn't need to follow a path of scorched terra-politica. It diminishes you; it defeminizes you. If you are to become our nation's first woman president; I want you to lead us with those unique strengths and sensibilities that we know women possess; independent of us men yet complimentary to us all; Not by acting out the aggressiveness of us men while having the safety net and your net value based on you having your Backup man in the Foreground. If you are truly worthy; you need not Bill's formidable reputation to convince us all of your worthiness.

Consider this; If Chelsea decides to run for political office should we measure her by the accomplishments of her Mommy and her Daddy too ? This is the 21st century, women have arrived in their own right. I personally want an Athena - an armed warrior goddess of Wisdom not a Hera and a retired Zeus slinging lightning bolts of malice in her behalf.

Bill makes one hell of an assumption that his wife will be the nominee. Anyone watch Bill Maher tonight?

The comment that Rupert Murdoch has collected the names of Bill's paramours for the past seven years which will be unleashed on us should she win the nomination?

Amy Holmes interview of six black women at a hair salon in L.A. talking about the candidates?

We'll see, Bill. We'll see.

Sen. Obama has recently been, um, Deeply TroubledTM by the fact that former President Bill Clinton has been factually calling him to the mat on his actual record in Congress. He made the following statement in the recent debate that he wasn't sure who he was running against - Sen. Clinton or former President Bill Clinton:

Has anyone noticed that Chelsea Clinton is an executive at a hedge fund. They make about 2 million dollars per year...

Wow, well I guess Karl Rove did what he set out to do, permanently divide this country into this 50/50 red/blue hatefest.

Too bad for the USA, since it looks like quite a few Dems, who have a chance to win, have decided instead they want revenge, not knowing that this tactic will blow up in their face and the Repubs will have the WH for at least another 4 years.

HRC gets the nom, McCain will win..sad but true. Even if HRC wins, repubs will do anything and everything to shut her down.

Obama wins nom, he wins, no question, McCain can't beat him on Iraq, 'nuff said. Obama in the WH means a chance for "United" in United States to mean something. Unexperienced or not, I don't want what we had in the 90's again. I don't want what we had these last seven years.

Obama stands for hope for the nation as a WHOLE again. I'll take country over partisanship any day thank you very much.

If anything, this comment is designed to hurt McCain's chances. I suspect that Hillary does not want to run against McCain.

Any praise from the Clintons is like the kiss of death to the Republican base. Does anyone remember that story about Hillary and McCain's vodka shots in eastern Europe?? Haha, poor McCain could not run away faster from the story.
