Bill Clinton just staged a passionate defense of his wife here, after a voter asked how Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton could unite this country when it is so split, politically and racially, and when she is such a polarizing figure.

The question unleashed an attack against the Republicans and an unusual assertion that Mr. Clinton had somehow escaped those attacks (has he forgotten so quickly?); he said he understood the right-wing bullies because he grew up with them. And he said that when they "didn't have me to kick around anymore," they went after his wife...

... He also said that Mrs. Clinton had worked with Republicans, including Senator Lindsay Graham, Republican of South Carolina.

And then he painted this scene: "She and John McCain are very close," he said. "They always laugh that if they wound up being the nominees of their party, it would be the most civilized election in American history and they're afraid they'd put the voters to sleep because they like and respect each other."

As I say, in my cups, that my beer is excellent, I must say that I saw HRC, HRH throw aside the rules of the Democratic Party in order to advance her own desires.

Perforce, I must take a bow to Father Time:

I really don't see how the Democrats are any better than the Republicans, now...I give us - we of the opposable thumbs and the capacity to think for ourselves - less than a one in ten chance of seeing 2100.

One in twenty.

Does Bill Clinton really think the man (McCain) who "joked" "bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran" is civilized? It's more like the end of civilization as we knew it.

If I was a shrink, and I'm not, then I'd say that everything that Bill Clinton does is designed to shriek that he is as good as everybody else, and although it appears that he got his life handed to him upon a silver platter, he actually had to work for it.

In between blowjobs.

You do understand exactly what Bill's remarks say, don't you?

If you want to be a Rhodes Scholar, it way helps if your parents know how to play along with the rednecks with the money.

The converse, of course, is...do you really want to be a Rhodes Scholar - like Bill Clinton?

CIVILIZED?
Both those warmongers, liars and CFR members are puppets for David Rockefeller and his cronies.
Hope to hell neither win the primaries. Both deserve to be tossed out of office. Then put on trial for treason.
Damn! Who should I waste my vote on?...

I have seen these sort of ultimatums from the Democrats before only to buckle under at the last minute...seems like one of those again.

I am relieved that Obamanistas are showing their true colors.

They are the same Clinton haters from the nineties who were brainwashed by the right-wing crazies; the same true-believing lefties who went for Nader over Gore and gave us 8 years of Bush; the same idiots who nominated McGovern, Mondale, Dukakis, Kerry; the same idiots who thinks choosing a Black dude with no experience(but looks and speaks good)is the way to hope and change.

But, the Obamanistas hate Bill and Hillary Clinton, even though they are the only two Democratic winners of the last 60 years. Yea, hate the winners. Typical liberal mentality.

The thing I hate about the Obamanista type is that they think they are so smug and morally superior to everybody else, and, if they lose, they don't care, just as long as they can continue to tell everybody they are right.

McCain and Hillary will be civilized because she will realize that us Independents will not be swayed so easily.

If Obama is not on the ticket, Kansas will go bye-bye. And so will the two Supreme Court Justices about to retire. As a result, because of dirty politics by Billary, practically the entire Supreme Court will be conservative!!

Way to go Democrats!! Do you guys really think that Obama(Harvard sigma cum laud)could not have taken a crack at the economy? He would have been surrounded with experts just like Hillary will be. When has any president ever found a permanent solution to the economy?

The only Clinton supporters you see on this blog are the Femi nazists ready to coronate her as the next queen when she wins the nomination.

As an independent, I have been sickened to watch the Clinton political machine denigrate Mr. Obama during these last two campaigns(NH, and NV).

The Clintons effectively exposed Mr. Obama long enough to have an effect on their key target audience in the first place: White voters.

Obama wanted a campaign of inclusion, the Clintons a campaign of hatred, polarization, and bigotry. It sickens me that old has beens like Charlie Rangel, and David Dinkins come to the aid of Hillary and Bill. They have embarrassed themselves, and the people they serve. Party loyalty is alive and well.

As a result, Kansas will go bye-bye. If Obama is not on the ticket, and Hillary wins I will vote straight Republican. I suspect that millions of Independents will do the same.

The Clintons style of politics is basically more of the same. Obama offered true change.

In addition, I suggest that Bill Clinton move his office out of Harlem, since he will be persona non grata by then.
