Bill Clinton: Obama Is Just Like Jesse Jackson

ABC News:

Said Bill Clinton today in Columbia, SC: "Jesse Jackson won South Carolina in '84 and '88. Jackson ran a good campaign. And Obama ran a good campaign here."

This was in response to a question about Obama saying it "took two people to beat him." Jackson had not been mentioned.

Boy, I can't understand why anyone would think the Clintons are running a race-baiting campaign to paint Obama as "the black candidate."

This is a bunch of HuffPost B.S.. Obama IS just like Jessie Jackson in the fact that Jackson was the 1st black American to win a S.Carolina Primary; Obama was the 2nd. If there is ANY racial overtones being injected into this 'non news story about race' being furthered by The Obamington Post, it is directly coming from 'the Obama camp', NOT the Clinton camp. Between race and pandering to Republicans, the Obama camp is trying to split the Democratic Party apart. Obama took swipes at Clinton -&- Edwards in his victory speech in S.Carolina­; that is not the talk of some one who truly believes in 'unity.' That was the talk of an over-bloated ego who still has a poor attendance record in the Senate while the Iraq war claims the lives of our brave men -&- women in Iraq! Obama is no more a 'progressive uniter with results' than George W. Bush. Obama needs to stop acting like a bratty little child and grow the fu*k up!
