Bill Clinton Effect? Obama Won Majority Of SC Voters Who Decided At The Last Minute

Rasmussen Reports:

Barack Obama won South Carolina's Democratic Presidential Primary by an overwhelming margin on Saturday.

As expected, Obama won overwhelming among African-American voters and also picked up a reasonable share of the white vote. Exit polls showed that Obama defeated Hillary Clinton 80% to 18% among African-Americans (the final Rasmussen Reports poll of the race showed Obama leading 68% to 16% among African-Americans).

This is similar to the national dynamics as support for Clinton and Obama breaks down along gender and racial lines.

John Edwards and Clinton each attracted 38% of white voters in South Carolina while Obama picked up 24%.

The Michelle Obama Factor knocked out the Bill Clinton Factor in South Carolina.

"She is a sista!"
The word of mouth endorsement circulated from one salon to another and from one grocery store to another.
Soul food and jazz and South Carolina was signed and sealed and delivered on a platter of bronze to her husband.

If Barack Obama lost in South Carolina, his presidential campaign would have been a mirage in the Kalahari Desert.

Almost 80% of the white voter in SC rejected BHO. That could be a real problem. As Edwards and HRC split teh vote between them, it's impossible to know if he would have won more had Edwards not been involved or the same. Either way, it shows a huge weakness to be addressed before he can be crowned.

Obama became the black candidate when he and Oprah did their road show complete with a "Color Purple" dialect and "They say he's not ready, They say he's got to wait his turn" and the rest of that crap. Obama has the media on his side, the only folks taking a look at him are the Chicago papers, everyone else is afraid if they investigate him they will be called "racists", and the blacks will say "They can't stand seeing a successful black man". I know that's what I heard after Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick got caught up in his "Sex, Lies and Text-Message" scandal this week.

The question is can Hill win without Bill. Apparently Bill doesn't think so, and neither does his wife. It is going to be interesting to see how long even the liberals can stand to hear what he has to say. I am afraid many are right in openly saying that with each word uttered Bill is damaging his legacy and ruining Hill's chance at the WH. The independents are the ones who are going to decide this election and are going to get sick of Bill easily.

Her Hillaryship is planning to put a muzzle on Slick Willy; put Slick Willy on a short, strong leash; fasten Slick Willy's leash to a strong floor to ceiling post; put Slick Willy in a secure. comfy, all weather shelter where Slick Willy will always have fresh, clean bedding, plenty of food & lots of fresh clean water where a leashed Slick Willy can always reach the food, water & his bed.
Slick Willy is driving voters to Sen Obama. Slick Willy probably has lost the nomination for her her Hillaryship with his big mouth.
Rumors that her Hillaryship will have Slick Willy neutered or put down for his own good in a quick, humane manner are false.
Rev or Gov Mike Huckabee is being blamed for these rumors. Mike Huckabee knows better. He isn't a Vasecotomy Vick preacher yet. He said that he studies the Bible too. I wish that some Christian who is a Bible scholor would guide Mike to the Ten Commandments & the scriptures which forbid manslaughter, lying & the neutering of human beings. A Baptist ought to know better. Her Hillaryship is said to be a Methodist. She damn sure as hell knows that lying is a sin & stealing an election is always stealing. She knows better.
She badly needs to speak with a pastor who is a Bible scholar right now. The wise pastor & she can pray together every day for a few minutes through the day. Note that I spelled the devotion 'pray', not prey.

If Hillary Clinton gets the nomination, I will not vote. The Dems may lose, but so be it. We will send the Clintons back to Arkansas and rid the party of those two selfish, arrogant, egotists. They are willing to destroy the Party for their own egos. I hope others will join me. Go Obama!

The voting was gonna go that way and everybody knew it, it just gave the MSM something else to regigitate over and over again instead of reporting the news. Telecom bill that just saved At & T's Butt from getting sued all the way to Bankruptcy from people like me that have been spied on since 2000 by the Dush Family. Or drawing attention to The Fisa bill coming up for the same reasons. Or Addressing the fact that the Iraq War is being "eminent domained" into Pakistan where it should have been targeted to start with, if we were only really going after terrorists. Or The troop strength being increased in Afghanistan, and which is going to utilize the Iraq Troops as they "srawdown", only now it is going to be a redeployment. Or the threat of a Worldwide Depression, except maybe in China, providing that they act smarter than Our Government was in 1929, and is today. And all the Bank Frauds that are being discovered and covered up around the world.

I read that the exit polls showed that the SC voters' main concern was the economy, and that only 1 in 5 chose the war as their main concern. I guess they don't get the connection!

So that question really doesn't tell us much.

What we can get from the win is that Obama has support of the AA voters sewn up.
