Love it!
I can't vote for Steve Novick. I live in another state.
I can and will send Steve Novick's campaign a generous contribution.
A someone just slightly taller, I know that small people work harder in school to shine in the one area where size does not count and work harder in their jobs to prove they are more competent...that kind of candidate will do more to serve their voters issues than any of the big ol' buys ever do.
The ads are great, and if you look behind the sizzle you'll see that Steve has the steak to go with it.
He is a solid progressive, really seriously smart, completely authentic, and also really funny.
I'm so pleased to be able to support him. The last time I felt this upbeat about a candidate for any office was Mo Udall in 1976.
It's great to feel that way again.
Gee, you really showed narrow-minded people how progressive you are by shoe-horning every label imaginable into your headline.
DMNewberg - The Dems may be pushing Merkley, but voters like you and I have the last word. Take a look at his positions on issues and his history - share them with your friends and we can get him elected to the US Senate this fall.
Novick is the only candidate I'm voting for to have him in office. All the others have been the lessor of two evils.
Well, OK, I like Bluemanauer too.
I've been following Novick for at least a year (he's been a behind-the-scenes guy for way longer than that). He's the Dennis Kucinich of Oregon, and would be a great Senator. Unfortunately, the Democrat power brokers have already selected Merkley as the candidate. C'mon, Dem.s, get some guts.
He's got a good hook, but can you dance to it?
novick is off the hook. it's so refershing to have a strongly progressive candidate that i can support who does not mince words, thinks on his feet, does not read from a script, and whom i don't have to worry about tempering his opinion to mollify the dc establishment/lobbyists/right-wing concern trolls, you name it.
his frank, honest and unapologetic. great ad steve!
Short people got no reason to live
They got grubby little fingers
And dirty little minds
Don't want no short people 'round here
Novick is fantastic. Smart, articulate, and progressive. He's got my vote!
What a great ad! Recent polls show that Steve Novick is our best chance against Gordon Smith, the Republican incumbent (and clone from the Rove-Bush factory). I know a lot of Oregonians that want Steve Novick to become our next U.S. Senator and he is clearly a better choice in the primary than Jeff Merkley. If we want real change in Washington, we need Steve Novick!
While the To Tell the Truth ad is quite good and creative, I really don't like the hook opener ad. I think it turns him into a caricature. My question is how is he going to be paying for all of these really expensive web ads? He's already down significantly in the bankroll department to Jeff Merkley who I think is a much better candidate, this isn't going to help.
