Barbara Walters Bans Kathy Griffin From "The View" — Again

"I was supposed to be on 'The View' [today]," said Griffin, who performs her final sold-out stand-up show tonight at Madison Square Garden. "But then I get a call from [producer] Bill Geddie, and he says, 'You were too mean to Barbara [Walters] on your last special, so you can't come on.' Can you believe it? I've been banned before but never re-banned!"

That's OK. I banned Barbara Walters from my TV decades ago--permanently! Unless I'm drinking hot chocolate, I have no use whatsoever fo marshmallow fluff. Perhaps they should send her up in the space shuttle so they can tes the effect of weightlessness on nothingness.

Barbara is so impressed with the uber-wealthy that all it will take is for Kathy to speak a couple of times about Steve Wazniak (sp?) and Babwa will be all like "We Must Get her back on the View!"

I love Kathy. She is a hilarious breath of fresh air. I used to watch "The View", but I gave it up after they hired that Sherry Shepard. One mentally challenged person was bad enough (Elizabeth). Then they had to bring in a person who believes in the literal interpretation of the Bible!
Also, Whoopi is the worst moderator. Barbara is extremely annoying with all of her name dropping! The show is extremely boring. The only one there with brains is Joy, but she's not enough to make the show watchable.
Kathy, consider yourself lucky that Barbara has banned you from that show. It ain't what it used to be.

Uh let's see, BW interviews I-mess but won't have KG on her show? I only watched the View when it was Rosie's show. I agree, let Joy and Whoopi do the View. BW's version is more rear-view and Hasslebeck can join Pat Robertson's PTL group. As for good news coverage from a woman's point of view, I like Gwen Ifill's Washington Week. I wonder if BW thinks she's the cleaning woman like I-mess did.

Barbera needs to ban Elizabeth Hasselback (far- right-wing nut-bag) off the show. The girl, just isn't that smart. She may be pretty and smart on some subjects, but when it comes to politics, she should just keep that mouth shut.
