It's funny that no one has remarked on the title of Caroline's NYT article ("A President Like My Father") and the fact that it could have headed articles written by dozens of children of ex-presidents...Amy Carter, the Nixon girls, Jeb or Dorothy Bush, the Reagan children, etc. It's impossible to write an article with the title "A President Like My Mother." For God's sake, doesn't that make Hillary the candidate for REAL change? Chelsea would be the first one in history to be able to write such an article. I look forward to that day.
By keeping her mouth shut & staying out of politics, I thought Caroline was smarter than the rest of that generation of Kennedys. What a shame that her accessment of candidates is so superficial. I sure don't look to teenagers to tell me how to vote. Their judgement is such that they have the majority of accidents in cars, with drugs, sex, etc. Obama is an empty suit & not ready for prime time.
How ironic,St. Obama critical of Clinton dynasty but yet he embraces Kennedy dynasty! He sure does pose good doesn't he.
Obama="Present" over 100 times WHY?
Funny thing we hear all about JFK's daughter endorsing Obama, but nothing about MLK's son indorsing Edwards.
The Media playing it as straight as their corporate handlers tell them to.
Carolyn Kennedy keeps being photographed in "shifts" - the dress style her mother made famous. It seems like she is impersonating her mother, Jackie Kennedy in trying to look like her.
As to Obama being Carolyn Kennedy's pick for the candidate in the past 40 years who is the best JFK impersonator, the country needs another JFK impersonator like we need another Elvis impersonator.
Somehow this seems like Michael Jackson marrying Lisa Marie Presley to me. Something is just not founded in reality on all of this.
But, when it comes to the 2 wars we are in, and the world economic crisis, we need a President founded in reality and not mythology.
Hillary Clinton is a realist and America needs reality after the propaganda we have received on a daily diet for the past 7 years. It's time to sober up.
I don`t see anything JFK in Obama.
Kennedys for Clinton: Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, Robert F Kennedy Jr, Kerry Kennedy

Hey how did those big Kerry and Kennedy endorsements of obama go in Florida ...anybody know I was so busy watching the votes pile up for Hillary I didn't notice.
Obama issued a statement after tonight's Florida results that sounded extremely petty, bitter and mean-spirited. I hope Caroline Kennedy does not regret her endorsement.
I respect Ms Kennedy greatly but I do not hear an ounce of emotion or sincerity in that ad. Clearly she was talked into doing this; Jackie would have been behind Hillary 100%.
We dine well here in Camelot.
We eat ham and jam and spam a lot.
We're opera mad in Camelot.
We sing from the diaphragm a lot.
It's a busy life in Camelot.
I have to push the pram a lot.
Who really cares who Caroline and Ted Kennedy endorse? Although I've always admired Ted most Democrats I know can't stand him. When Bush got elected Ted got all excited about No Child Left Behind and we all know how that turned out. Now Kathleen and Robert Jr. are very well liked by most people and they endorse Hillary.
You Clintonistas could take a lesson in grace and poise from Caroline. God knows you idiots need it.
In the midst of the hubris and replies to this beautiful ad are some really thoughtful posts.
It's striking to me that perfect strangers - who lived during the JFK, MLK, and RFK years (as I did) - are able to assert that Senator Obama is no JFK.
As has been pointed out, Obama himself rejects the comparison and has stated publicly the Kennedy's are in a class all their own.
I've heard some dismiss Caroline Kennedy's allusion to Barack being like her father by saying that she does not have too many actual memories of her dad as President.
Yet, the most vigorous endorsement at American University yesterday came from Senator Edward Kennedy, who far from simply being alive during the Kennedy years was JFK's brother.
If, as others are stating, Senator Kennedy passed the torch to Barack his remarks will be easily set aside by some as furthering some hidden agenda or dark self serving scheme.
I for one reject that out of hand. Few families in American politics have sacrificed as the Kennedy's have. I believe they see in Senator Obama exactly what they say they see. But then I skipped mind and motive reading 101.
Ethel Kennedy, RFK's widow, said of Barack Obama, "I think he feels it. He feels it just like Bobby did... He has the passion in his heart. He's not selling you. It's just him."
I'll let JFK's family decide who they feel is most like JFK. As for me, I've read Senator Obama's positions on the vital issues of our day as posted on his web site. He inspires me in ways I have not been inspired since the days of JFK, MLK, and RFK. And that's how I feel before I hear him speak.
If experience was the best teacher then we all would be experts. It's what an individual does with their experience that matters. Senator Obama is using his experience and vision to inspire me and countless others.
Yes we can!
