Heath Ledger

People:

Heath Ledger was tired and emotional before his shocking Jan. 22 death, Deepak Chopra tells PEOPLE.

"He was a little depressed about not having seen his daughter," explained the Seven Laws for Spiritual Success author, who - along with mutual friend Shekhar Kapur, Ledger's director in 2002's The Four Feathers - talked to the actor the day before he died. "It was like, 'I'm missing my girl. ... ' He hadn't seen [two-year-old Matilda] over the holidays, he mentioned that."

The 28-year-old Ledger, who was in midst of shooting The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, also admitted he was having trouble sleeping. "He's a very, very ambitious actor and hard-working guy," said Chopra. "He was still high from the experience [of filming in London] and he hadn't come down ... He was exhausted."

Chopra is a Hollywood loser! He hangs with the stars and lives like Raj then tries to act like some Indian all knowing spiritual prophet. This coin operated fake lost touch with his spiritual side 15 years ago. It's now all about fame and fortune.

Chopra pretty much admitted that he's full of it on R. Dawkins two part documentary series "Enemies of Reason".

The greatest tribute that one can pay Heath is to not read any of the sh*t about him.

Rest well, Mr. Ledger, you left a great film legacy and you'll be missed.

Chopra should STFU. Who needs his self-serving input anyway?

Heath is getting to be like Woodstock. Did he talk to Dr. Phil, Oral Roberts and Laura Schlesinger too. Maybe Jean Dixon predicted his accident?

Sixpack Chopra is such a phony!!

I'ts amazing how many people spoke w/ Heath before he pasted away. It's now been like 4 or 5 people that talked w/ him last two days of his life.

Somebody better call Penn and Teller quick! I smell bullshit!

Chopra visited him? Must be his ayurvedic bull**** that did him in...

Chopra is one of the biggest charlatans in the world.

Goodness! how pathetic is this? can we spell ambulance chaser? can Chopra exhibit a bit class and for once not try to exploit the issue to his advantage?

Totally unacceptable- BTW the New York Post has nothing on the Huff.

So far, the only positive thing to result from the untimely and unfortunate passing of Mr. Ledger is that an extraordinary number of people have shown their true (and quite ugly) colors.

The bloggers enlisted by Huffington Post to write commentaries for this website who have used Mr. Ledger's death as a springboard for their own self-serving, opportunistic, narcissistic agenda are a disgrace.

The regular users posting some of the most heinous (often homophobic) comments are a sad commentary on the internet, the community here and the state of communication and discourse (and class) at this site and online in general.

it's inappropriate for someone like chopra to comment on heath ledger in print. that was just chopra's opinion of how he viewed heath. his comments should not be taken as a medical opinion, and indeed, heath wasn't seeking a medical, educated, or learned opinion from him.

this is a dr. phil moment for anyone who claims to have insight into how heath was feeling up to the days he unfortunately died.

the world may never know how heath ledger died, but we most certainly don't need comments like these from chopra and others to cloud the situation.

shame on you, deepak. it's self-aggrandizement. enough, already.
