NEW YORK — Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton will yuk it up on CBS' "Late Show With David Letterman," a day before the Feb. 5 Super Tuesday contests.

Clinton will join Letterman on the set before a studio audience in New York this coming Monday. She was last on the program Jan. 2, in a cameo appearance from Iowa.

It will be the former first lady's ninth visit to the show. She first appeared in 1994 from the Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway, where she was interviewed by Letterman's mother.

Letterman's show has been a popular destination for the presidential hopefuls. Democrats Barack Obama and John Edwards have both appeared twice since entering the race _ Obama as recently as last Thursday, where he read the nightly Top 10 list.

Republican John McCain announced his candidacy on Letterman's show last February. GOP rivals Rudy Giuliani and Mike Huckabee have also appeared on the show as candidates.

I really enjoy seeing Hillary on Letterman..........she can really be herself.........the great, friendly, warm Gal she really is!!!
Of course, Dave will have to make a joke about the "pants suit"!

Clinton's eventual nomination will prove to be all the more brilliant and robust (to use an overused term of the day) after overcoming the intense and relentless nastiness thrown at her from the press, the un-American right-wing pundits, and all the Republicans posing as Democrats who post here. Hillary pretty much won every cohort in Florida, so it appears you can go ahead and pretend Obama is JFK, Lincoln, FDR and Tom Jefferson rolled into one and the majority of intelligent Democrats won't buy it. What a complete crock. And if you think Americans are going to wind up swooning in November for an old warmonger who says he really should brush up on economics because he needs to understand that subject better ... I don't think so. If only Hillary had kept her real name, we could be looking forward to the great administration of President Rodham.

What a turnoff. I was pulling for Edwards but would vote for Obama if he gets the nomination. If Shillary gets the nod I'll stay home.

She turns my stomach and is no better than the neocons.
