During the coverage of this evening's Florida primary results, MSNBC's Joe Scarborough discussed the impact of John McCain's victory with Pat Buchanan. The Republican establishment will rally around McCain and say "he's the guy," Buchanan said, but he cautioned that McCain's vision for America was foreboding.

"What does he say? The jobs are never coming back, the illegals are never going home, but we're gonna have a lot more wars," Buchanan said of McCain. Scarborough remarked that McCain's "inviting" presidential platform for the fall consists of "less jobs and more wars":

BUCHANAN: Here's a guy, basically, what does he say? The jobs are never coming back, the illegals are never going home, but we're gonna have a lot more wars.

SCARBOROUGH: We're gonna start a lot of wars! He has promised, for the record Keith, John McCain's platform -- and it certainly looks inviting for the fall -- he has promised less jobs and more wars. Now that's something we can all rally behind.

McCain is a dinosaur who recognizes some economic realities but misses the point.

True, since the United States sent textiles, manufacturing, and, now, increasing numbers of white collar jobs abroad, all that is really left for our economy is Farming, and War.

The Military Industrial Complex learned what an economic boon WWII was, so too was Vietnam, whether or not the War was won. It also made oodles of money through the Cold War, where the paranoia of War with the Soviets or Chinese kept the cash registers ringing overtime, while ACTUAL war... the Nuclear kind ... would have really been bad for business.

The US is always looking for a new place to do War ... er, I mean ... business with, and McCain knows how to get those Military Contractors on board with more promises of Profit Jihads ... but there is a problem ...

China ... China will be the United State's wet blanket when it comes to War in the coming decades. We all know that ever since Nixon opened the door with China, American business has been trying to coax the Communist Chinese out of their economic shell ... We now know that has worked very well ... too well.

Besides China owning the lion's share of US Manufacturing ... it is also one of America's main financiers. In fact, it looks like the US Government has sold the Communist Chinese the rope with which to hang us. In a heartbeat, the Chinese could devastate our economy by ending their Bond purchases, dumping our Bonds, dumping our currency, or placing an embargo on our products leaving their ports.

What has that to do with McCain's Profit Jihad? Well, the US isn't the Chinese's only Business Partner ... those little commies have been cutting lucrative deals all over the world ... including Asia, South America, Africa ... all of America's prime War Zones

... it is likely, the Chinese may not allow the US to engage in Elective Wars where their markets could be negatively impacted.

So, even though McCain could probably succeed at Scarborough's "Less Jobs" observation ... the Chinese would hamper McCain's "More Wars" initiative.

i can undetstand MCCAINS ardor for more war.....its all he has ever done; more war would validate his exploits in vietnam..where he dropped napalm bombs on civilian populations.....from 10,000+ feet above them..never saw his victims....until he was captured and had to face their kin -folk....we americans have to stop killing people who have never attempted to harm us....you can find an enemy most anywhere if you are determined to do so..........

Hey, war's a job. One of the few anymore that comes with free lifetime health care. If you survive, of course.

See? This is why I've said any of the Democrats (now just Hillary or Obama) will beat McCain - because he will say the dumest things and even the Republican media aren't behind him.

'less jobs and more wars' -- talk about a perfect jab to use on him!

All my candidates have fallen by the wayside, Biden, Dodd and Edwards. As an Independent I have never cared for Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama, BUT I will damn sure vote for either one over McLame.

I wonder how long it will be before people start favoring the one candidate who is NOT set upon more wars, and indeed would even get our troops out of about 900 overseas bases. Time to come home Uncle Sam, we and the world will be better off. I'm a Korean "police action" vet -- did we "win"? -- can't say. But, over a half-century later, we still have thousands of troops in Korea. Why? to protect Japan? If North Korea invades Japan will my Toyota warrenty be invalidated? More wars? McCain is insane -- went crazy dropping bombs through the clouds at someone below. But I suppose, in a Democracy, even crazy people need to be represented.

So if Max Clelland's war record was fair game, and John Kerrys' as well, wonder if the democrats wil play nice with McCain in the general election?
