Pranking Jonah Goldberg

The last time we reported on Jonah Goldberg, whose effort to outpace the Brookhaven National Laboratory's attempt to create the densest man-made material in the universe resulted in the authoring of his field guide for complete morons known as Liberal Fascism, he was getting totally owned by Jon Stewart on The Daily Show in a heavily edited segment that nobody enjoyed participating in or watching.

Now, the blogosphere is all a-titter with more laffs at young master Jonah's expense. It seems that one of the bloggers at Lawyers, Guns, and Money, banking on the notion that Goldberg would "literally re-print almost anything he's sent, provided that it makes some positive, vacuous observation about his book," sent him an email which praised Liberal Fascism in terms that just about anyone with the good sense the Lord bestowed upon the average sack of doorknobs could see was pure, insincere foolery.

The letter read:

Jonah--

I seem to be a slow reader compared to some of your fans, but I find myself drifting off into thought about once or twice a page, and it takes me forever to get through a chapter. This may sound silly, but my experience with the book, I've found, is similar to what I think must be going through my kid's head when she learns a new shape or color. When she learned what a triangle was, for example, all of a sudden she saw triangles everywhere -- and often in places that had completely escaped my attention. Same thing for me with the concept of "liberal fascism." It's just so easy to see it now that I'm reading your work, but I don't know how it could have been missed for so long. It's right there in the open.

So reading your book has been like seeing history and the world politics anew. Thanks, man.

Naturally, the none-too-bright Goldberg gave the letter its own special wittle post on his special wittle bwog! As of this posting, Goldberg appears to be none the wiser. In fact, he's since added another letter from an "admirer," which notes: "Also the book has provided me with airtight rationale to start boozing again."

Please, stop giving morons a bad name. Jonah is just a little out of touch and like the Faux media crowd (and liberals) haven't figured out that Rupert Murdoch financially supports Hillary's campaign and Mellon Scaife has made up with Bill C. and family. In other words, big money is counting on the Dems to bail them out of this next DEPRESSION we are about to experience, brought to us as it happens by the neo-con artists whose penis Jonah likes to fellate (well, he is a closet gay. I mean, he's too conservative to be otherwise - no offence to real gay people, mind you, just those in denial). Jonah doesn't have the readership anymore and people are fatigued on neo-conservativism just like they tired of "politically correct" ultra liberalism. Frankly, Jonah needs to be drafted and sent to his favorite war (infantry point man would be a good start).

Have any of you read the book? Personally? I don't think so. How embarrassing to be unable to think outside your box or even consider any other viewpoint.

With the space you get on Huffington Post, why not try to make a substantive argument with evidence on why anything Jonah Goldber's book is incorrect.

So the preposterous Jonah Goldberg career, oped columnist, author, bloviator is the payoff to his Momma for her critical part in the attempted destruction and successful disruption of Bill Clinton's presidency and the life of the United States.

Another of the preening fellow traveling republican spokesmen and women whose allegiance is bought and paid for by these so called Think Tanks and Institutions funded by America hating right wing and fundamentalist zealots who don't seem to like it here and long for the good old days before the Americans won the Revolution and King George was still the man.

People at these Foundations undoubtedly advise Goldberg and Coulter and even Bernard Goldberg on what drivel they should invent to help further confuse history.

Jonah is busy along with so many other lightweight Republican clowns actually trying to rewrite America's history. It's upsetting to imagine students in the future reading these fabricated reimaginings of history as though it's actually the researched factual account or a part thereof.

Goldberg is just one "m" away from being a mormon.

The Doughy tub of goo is my favorite punching bag. I love his self-image of being a "serious" writer. He is the only person on the planet that believes the tripe in this book. I've seen the prank letters(there are others) except the AA one which is great.

It just goes to show you that you can still rise to power while digging up dirt on people. He and momma Golddigger (opps) I mean Goldberg did a job on the Clintons. They should give the Clintons a cut of their profits from the sale of their books (even if they don't sell to many). People like the Goldbergs aren't relative in this country except to the extreme right. Am a proud liberal and alot of liberals help make this country great. Motto of the extreme right (Give me everything and screw everyone else.)

'Liberal fascism'.....?
clear evidence that this 'Jonah' got 'swallowed' by his own ego......

and, evidently, got 'STUCK' in his own throat!

Bizarre.....for thinking Americans,
but part and parcel of the 'corporate fascist' cloud THINKING that envelops the BUSH 'babies' everywhere they go......

Methinks 'Jonah' was looking into a mirror when he scribbled down his thoughts and JUST SAW THE 'CORPORATE FASCIST' CLOUD THAT SURROUNDS HIM AND HIS REPUBLICANTS and thought it must be a 'liberal' mirage........

Wait a minute...you mean a " Jonah Goldberg" isn't literally some kind of joke?!!!

From the op ed pieces in the LA Times I thought everything with a "Jonah Goldberg" byline was a prank!
