Models are paid millions to twirl in the latest bra and panty set. Right? Nope -- not unless they are one of an extremely small (and beautiful) handful of young women.

Last year, models made a median hourly wage of $11.22, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, a bit less than twice the minimum wage of $5.85. Not so glamorous.

"Most models take other jobs. They're waiters. It gives them the flexibility to go to model calls and auditions," said Ean Williams, executive director of DC Fashion Week, a designer showcase held twice a year in the nation's capital. "There are a lot of people that are very beautiful, very talented, that don't make it in the business."

The young and beautiful aren't the only ones working like dogs and earning peanuts. In fact, models, demonstrators and product promoters rank No. 8 on a new list of the 10 worst jobs in America.

Some Americans feel it is their birth rights that they are entitled to fun and well paying jobs. The wake up call is when you have little education, little work ethics, and little intelligence, the evitable outcome is that you will have a shitty job. American youths are all fixated on hitting the jackpot of being famous for something. Look at how many people try out for American Idol. America will be much better off if we had that many people graduating from PhD programs instead.

The absolute worst job must be those paid republicunt trolls in here, typing away all day and night in a rented trailer, spewing hate and vitriol onto their keyboards, listening to nothing but Rush and old tapes of nazi marching bands, subsisting on Night Train, Cheetos and whatever they find in the neighbors' trash. All for a nickel per post. That's gotta be the worst by a mile.

These are the worst jobs? Hey folks you obviously never worked in construction say as a laborer on a high rise office bldg. What you are basically is hired "muscle",almost exactly like a mule or a fork lift. The work doesn't stop because its too hot,too cold or its too wet! Hey you busted your ass finishing this floor - great! Now you can just add another 50 or 60 floors on top of that one and you'll be finished!

It is pretty dang-nab obvious to this observer that women have inculcated, as FACT, the thesis that their bodies, and all of it's inherent parts are enjoyable to look at.

Call center work HAS to be worse than prancing around in hardly any clothes and having people feed your vanity. If you're a model YOU'RE the idiot, and you don't have to spend your day talking to them.
