Courtney Love On Rehab, Britney And Daughter Frances Bean

Courtney Love has been clean and sober for several years, and despite appearances claims to be better than ever. She spoke with "Access Hollywood" about Britney Spears, rehab and Frances Bean, her daughter with Kurt Cobain.

On Britney: "Here is what's gonna happen if she doesn't get help -- something very, very bad is gonna happen. Marilyn Monroe was strapped to a gurney too, but other than me and Britney, no one else has ever been strapped to a gurney."

On Buddhism, Love credits Orlando Bloom with introducing her to the practice of chanting. "We do chant everyday,"12-step demands that you have a spiritual practice that you do everyday. I love Orlando for this. He doesn't mind being outed. I don't mind talking about it because it has changed my entire life, changed everything -- restructured my body, restructured my physicality. Truly I can, not all the time, but I can take joy at really shitty situations."

I am very proud of Courtney Love.. you can truly see in this video just how far she has come. She did it for herself and her daughter, it took her a few falls before she could get back up again for good--but by god, she fucking did it.

Congratulations to her, I hope she can keep it up and I hope she lives out a very happy and fulfilled life.

When was Marilyn Monroe strapped to a gurney to be taken to a psych ward? How can anyone draw comparisons to Monroe, a very talented woman with emotional problems, with this bumper crop of halfwitted, publicity-seeking drug addicts?

It ain't fair.

When one of these idiots produces a body of work that can compare to even one of Monroe's roles (Bus Stop, for instance) I'll have some sympathy. But really, Courtney, you're no Marilyn.

(Lucky for them they haven't shared the fate of Frances Farmer. Look her story up sometime, and be grateful for your lives.)
