You can really see the effect of the writer's strike on this piece. Normally a novelty piece like this would have been trimmed to about ninety seconds max. With the strike the producers were no doubt enouraged to draw it out as long as they could, and they pretty much did. When Damon said 'we're out of time' it was more like 'this premise cannot be stretched another ten secods without collapsing'
