The blog Inside Cable News reported Thursday that Karl Rove will be joining Fox News as a contributor. The report didn't include any further details as of yet, but suggested he would be used for the channel's Super Tuesday coverage.

It'a actually a pretty sharp move by FOX as far as their viewers are concerned because a) He can come across as reasonably intelligent, which allows the FOX viewing public to kid themselves into believing that they are indeed smart and discerning (when, of course, if they were given a political IQ test the opposite, no doubt, would be the case); and b) Rove will feed them all the lies they still want to believe so they can maintain the myth that 7 years in, everything bad in the world is STILL Bill Clinton's fault and anything with a remotely positive spin is because George is smarter than people think. Win-Win.
