Democratic candidates Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are engaged in a fierce battle to capture the crucial emerging Latino vote during next week's set of Super Tuesday primaries - especially in the delegate-rich state of California.

After Thursday night's televised debate in Hollywood, The Huffington Post spoke with the chief Latino surrogates of both campaigns.

Maria Elena Durazo has taken leave from her post as leader of the 800,000 strong L.A. County Federation of Labor to serve as the national co-chair for Barack Obama's campaign.

Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa leads the Latino outreach effort for Hillary Clinton.

The name of the game is "POWER". I see history repeating itself.

Barack Obama is to Teddy Kennedy and the Liberal Left as George W. Bush is to Dick Cheney and the Radical Right.
The power to control the Presidency of the United States of America and to swing the pendulum from far right to far left, is now the goal of the Democratic Party.

John McCain and Hilary Clinton represent the Moderates and Independents of both parties. The Republicans have essentially chosen their Centrist candidate and the Radical Wing is furious about it. (Example: Rush Limbaugh)
Democrats should now do the same and let them fight it out for our votes.

Don't be fooled into electing Radicals from either side!

Latinos concerned about war should think twice about voting for Hilary. Do you have family in the military? Don't become canon fodder for the Clinton's planned wars in the mid east. Look at the advisers around Hilary. Rubin (who is married to Amanpour of CNN), Madeleine Albright (who destroyed peace talks in '00 and set off the intifade riots in Palestine that enraged the 9/11 hijackers), and Holbrooke who is the funnel for foreign money looking for America to enter foreign wars on their side.

Bill and Hilary found a way to profit from wars - Bill's first stop after leaving office was the biggest synagogue in Florida (in Aventura) where he collected $100,000 payment for destroying the Oslo peace accords.

Do not vote for Clintons if you want peace. If you don't like your children and want to kill them in a war for profit you should vote for Clintons.

BEWARE !!! Hillary's so-called 'Universal' Health Care Plan is to make it AGAINST THE LAW FOR ANYONE TO NOT BUY THEIR OWN HEALTH INSURANCE (LIKE AUTO INSURANCE)That's not health care....that's just a law (that's what mandate means) !!!!! Under Hillary's health care plan everyone who breaks her law and does not buy their own health coverage (if not offered through their job) would be fined and wages could be garnished. Also, everyone would have to prove that they already have health insurance (show an insurance policy) before they could get a new job if that new job does not offer coverage. If people could afford health care they would have it.To make it a law will just make people unable to afford the coverage afraid to go to the hospital when ill in fear of getting caught breaking the law (without coverage). TERRIBLE !!! DON'T BE FOOLED AMERICA !!!!!

This is what we can expect with a Hillary Presidency. She doesn't understand vision. She hasn't seen it from the inside. Obama has IT from the inside.

This Mayor Villaraigosa in so many words said Hillary lost the debate. Then he went on with a weak statement about how strong she is in the community. I did not say anything about grass root movements. I do not know if he is going to strong arm latinos into voting for Hillary. He sound like a mob boss to me.

Don't bother watching the video, neither of them said anything. That's not surprising considering the interviewer.

Regarding the Obama rep, she took part in a convoy in support of illegal immigration:

Regarding Tony Villar from the Hillary camp, there's a ton of information out there about him, ranging from his affair with TV anchor to his radical past as a leader of a racial separatist group:

See also this video where he outright supports illegal aliens remaining in the U.S.:

Maybe the HuffPost might consider having higher standards.
