On the February 3 edition of Fox Broadcasting Co.'s Fox News Sunday, panelist and New York Times columnist Bill Kristol said the only people supporting Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's (D-NY) presidential campaign "are the Democratic establishment and white women." Kristol then asserted that "it would be crazy for the Democratic Party to follow an establishment that's led it to defeat year after year," and added, "White women are a problem, that's, you know -- we all live with that." After fellow panelist Brit Hume responded, "Bill, for the record, I like white women," Kristol said, "I know, I shouldn't have said that."

Nobody seems to have asked Bill Crytal what he meant. So why the big fuss? Maybe he just using the Jewish angst comedian voice. His mistake was expressing his remark as though its the absolute experiece of all men to be resigned to enduring problematic women. So some one should tell Bill, yes some women in all populations expect to be treated like princesses but not all of them. Then there are the few who want to be treated like queens, Hillary Clinton comes to mind.
For a neocon Bill Crystal has one of the most pleasant faces and winning smiles. He just needs to be a little more discrete expressing himself or he could find Ann Coulter trying to get in his front door to perfect him.
