Clinton Responds To Coulter Support With Coughing Fit

Candidates on the campaign trail are frequently faced with any number of tough questions and confronted on all sorts of difficult and divisive issues. But only Hillary Clinton has had to face down the harrowing prospect of earning the support of wackadoodle dandy Ann Coulter. When asked to respond to the news by George Stephanopoulos, Clinton was either forced to choke back a dollop of gorge or else found the prospect so amusing that it prompted a coughing jag. Anyway, who can blame Clinton for reacting the way she did? It definitely "humanizes" her!

I hope that her Hillaryship's minders carry an ample supply of Depends for her & a couple of changes of clothes too. She's entitled to a case of turista at a suggestion that Ms Coulter might campaign for her.
Ms Huffington, her editors, bloggers, many of us, even the right wingnut trolls (OK, the trolls hate her Hillaryship, progressives, their paymasters, every sentient being & themselves) who get comments printed on/in HP are wrongly accused of being rabid Hillary haters but none of wish a supporter like Ms Coulter upon her, ever. Having Slick Willy campainging for her will ensure that BHO, not HRC, gets the Democratic nomination in '08 & become POTUS on 1/20/09. There is still a thing called overkill. Having Slick Willy & Ms Coulter as supporters who also campaign for her Hillaryship is the same as overkill for her Hillaryship's ambitions to ever become POTUS.

Cackling and coughing. How cute. She looks like a teenager. Coughing and cackling, using that as an avoidance of tackling Coulter. She could have very well denied that she would ever accept Coulter as an endorser. She, again, responds by avoidance and reluctance. I have not doubt that the Billary would welcome Coulter, only deny they ever did, because she would get them some of them Republican voters on their side. I have no doubt that the caluclating Billary, would approach Coulter, under the guise of a surrogate, to push for the Billary. No doubt at all.

It is possible that Senator Clinton is the best candidate. However, even though many may like the policies that Senator Clinton proposes, they should also consider her record, just as Senator Clinton insists.

I sure hope this tough new Hillary that will stand up and protect America is just playing to the crowd. Richardson has been the only person brave enough to say that human rights are more important than national security. If we are wise enough to accommodate human rights then national security will come much more easily.

I'm only a nurse with 28 years experience, but Senator Clinton's voice sounds hoarse, like she has a cold or early laryngitis. I think a short laugh prompted the cough. No news there.

Clinton did what all of us should do when it comes to Ann Coulter, laugh at her and forget her. Her hate-filled rhetoric is so over the top that we can all see it for the self-serving, book-selling garbage it is. To give weight to anything Ann Coulter says, is to give it legitimacy. Ann Coulter is anything BUT legitimate.

This morning on Face The Nation, John McCain had to answer how he interpreted the opposition to his campaign from Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter. He smiled (I would have laghed out loud) and listed a number of intelligent conservatives who support him.

He has self control, a sense of humor, and he really tries to be honest. He is my favorite Republican. Of course that is like picking my favorite tea, (I'm a die hard coffee drinker)

I wonder how McCain will handle the immigration questions in the general race, especially when the predictably horrible consequences of Arizona's draconian new immigration laws become apparent.
