Clinton Responds To Coulter Support With Coughing Fit

Candidates on the campaign trail are frequently faced with any number of tough questions and confronted on all sorts of difficult and divisive issues. But only Hillary Clinton has had to face down the harrowing prospect of earning the support of wackadoodle dandy Ann Coulter. When asked to respond to the news by George Stephanopoulos, Clinton was either forced to choke back a dollop of gorge or else found the prospect so amusing that it prompted a coughing jag. Anyway, who can blame Clinton for reacting the way she did? It definitely "humanizes" her!

I saw no "coughing fit". I saw a great candidate trying to endure the harsh campaign trail, the endless smears of the media and having to sit and watch Obama be handed the thrown without him being fully vetted.

I saw this interview. The cough was small, and she DID answer the question with a quip.

But I was more struck with the setting. The black that she wore was off-set by a gray background. It looked very grim. I was suprised by this and wondered why she didn't go for a more uplifting color scheme.

Nah, I think this "Coughing" was just a trial balloon. Over all I give its effectiveness only a 4. If I were a Clinton advisor I'd say forget the cough, stick with the maniacal laugh, it has a much more terrifying effect. Just a side note, I think if Hillary doesn't make it all the way to the W.H. that with that laugh she would make a great villain in the next Bond movie. Now if only we could come up with a good name for her character ??????

Please if you don't think that it is Ann Coulter's interest to knock down Senator Clinton, then you just don't think through.

Ann Coulter is scary, but she does have clout among a rather rabid segment of the conservative right. Visit any college campus, and you'll find Ann Coulter clubs.

Anyone paying attention knows this is AC's big joke. There's lots of evidence Coulter is an oddly deranged Rethug who is unable to control her speech or what's left of her brain. ACdc is in Mitler's camp, & trying to scare the BushWacko camp into boycotting McCain, and thus help revive Robo Romney. At minimum, for even laughable credibility, Ann-Cdc needs to "cough up a contribution" for Hillary. Even if she does, Ann can't hope to be court jester for HRC.

I think she just saw it for being the joke that it is. Clinton has her detractors but she is also one of the most respected and highly regarded women in the world.
Ann Coulter is...well...Not. She's a shrew who appeals to the hatred consumed australopithecines that haven't bothered to progress along with the rest of the human race. She's never had a sincere thought or intention in her pitiful life.
