Polls have come to dominate the media's horse race coverage of political campaigns. Pundits and reporters constantly use them to tell us who's hot and who's not -- but skip over the fact that plummeting response rates and variables like undecided voters and margins of error and often render these polls useless as anything other than lightweight diversions on par with horoscopes and political betting lines. Our HuffPollstrology chart helps keep you up to date on the latest poll results, along with the latest horoscope predictions, and the latest online political betting lines - and will hopefully help the polling junkies in the media keep polls in the proper perspective.

If you can speak to companions in a more rational way, they are likely to connect better. But you will be whizzing around at high speed here and there, doing all sorts of things in a very lively kind of way. Check out in advance whether what you're doing is really necessary - sometimes you rush too fast and don't stop to slow down and think things through. You may be over-indulging - with your waistline expanding as a result..

It's a rather self-sacrificing kind of day which means you have to put aside your own need for frivolity to make sure that everyone else is getting what they want. Just polish your halo and console yourself with the thought that you will get your rewards in a couple of days. Over-eating can be one minor downside of Venus and the Moon snuggling up close today, since you want to make yourself feel pampered by eating sweet or rich food.

Try not to be too possessive today. Maybe you do feel like clinging more than usual, but it won't be wise. Have your enjoyment without pinning close mates down, otherwise they may want to skip off elsewhere. Your emotions will be more fickle than usual. The Moon is close to Jupiter so you will be charming, easy-going, and definitely looking on the better side of life at the moment. Just watch you are not too sentimental.

Don't make up your mind about one plan until you've had a chance to discuss it with everyone around. Too much advice can make you confused, but not enough input and you may reach the wrong decisions. Just listen carefully then when the moment is ready you'll know exactly what is going to be workable. Just watch you don't set up a disappointment for yourself by expecting too much. You will dislike confrontations more than usual.

Well...it's interesting especially after the last few debates that Obama has stated he is not supportive of Universal Healthcare yet his commercials running in New Jersey right now are reflecting that he is supportive of Universal Healthcare.

So which is it Obama...? Or are you lying? I mean flip-flopping...which he is usually quick to add at the debates.

He also speaks a lot of this "Politics as usual has to change" yet he is always the one to instigate and plays the Political hardball game all of Washington plays. So to distance yourself as one who does not is untrue. He just isn't experienced. Period.

Here is the latest from CNN (Monday)

"This morning's CNN poll gives Barack Obama the national lead over Hillary Clinton — the first time ever that Obama has led in a major national poll, though the result is still technically a statistical dead heat. Here are the numbers, compared to the last poll from just over two weeks ago:

Obama 49% (+16)
Clinton 46% (+4)

This poll would seem to indicate that Obama is picking up most of the former John Edwards supporters, as well as a good number of the undecideds."
**END OF CNN QUOTE**

Me again: Warning! This is a national poll and does not necessarily reflect true opinion in the Super Tuesday states. But it does point to the surge in momentum for Obama nationwide. There will be no clear winner on Tuesday, and this one is going down to the wire.

The Clintons are gearing up for their next battlefront, and it will be health care, since Hillary needs to deflect as much attention away from Iraq as possible. It is up to Obama to keep up the heat on Iraq. It is not merely that Clinton voted for the war, but that her views are too closely aligned to that of McCain. She can only run as McCain Lite, and people would prefer the real thing, John himself.

It is embarrassing to see The Huffington Post descend into the muck of astrology while at the same time urging rational thought in other areas. Please.

It looks like Mitt is losing ground to Huck. What are the odds that the GOP ticket will be McCain/Huckabee?
