Jack Nicholson

Jack Nicholson phoned up LA's 'Rick Dees in the Morning' Monday morning to publicly announce his support for Hillary Clinton:

"I wanted to, as a performer, see how Sen Clinton dealt with the glee that they (her opponents) exhibited in their desire to bury her candidacy." Said Nicholson. "I must tell you: when I saw her sit down, and she said she 'found her voice in New Hampshire', that was it for me. She handled that next debate as the masterful person that she is. She's the one to get the job done that needs to be done."

Dees was equally as thrilled with Senator Clinton calling into the show to thank Nicholson for his endorsement, and to thank them both for the opportunity to reach out to Southern California listeners. "This was so special for me, to have an Academy Award winning Actor like Jack Nicholson and Senator Clinton on the show talking about change and shaping our nation. This was a top five moment in my radio career", said Dees. Rick continued noting, "It was a good thing Hillary was the 100th caller".

But while Nicholson may have voiced his support with the call in, it seems he has yet to back Senator Clinton with his wallet. A search of Huffington Post's Fundrace shows no donations from the 70-year old, under Jack or his birth name John.

Paul Volcker, the former chairman of the Federal Reserve, endorsed Obama four days ago. THAT gets me excited. Jack Nicholson, not so much.

Obama supporters please have some taste.

Your man has received many endorsements for the past few days. You must be very happy for that.

If Hillary got some, you should graciously take as it is.

Why make some unnecessary noise here?

This doesn't prove anything.

You want your man to win in a style of taking no prisoner.

In a democracy, we not only want to learn how to lose with dignity, we should also learn how to win granciously without being too arrogant.

Huffpost - M. Nicholson we're a little confused.

Jack - Why's that?

Huffpost - Well, you said...and we're quoting you here... "She handled that next debate" you mixed past tense with the future tense.

Jack - So what? Let's just say that I exist outside of space and time.

Huffpost - But the endorsement makes no sense. I mean, you are ardently pro-life and....

Jack - Well, I'm also pro-tits and she's the only one who got 'em....

Huffpost - Is that the only reason you're endorsing Hillary Clinton?

Jack - Who else is there? The colored fella?

Huffpost - (silence)

Jack - Look, we got some towel heads over there trying to turn us into toasted marshmallows and you're arguing PC crap...

Huffpost - Thank you Mr. Nicholson. I'm sure Hillary Clinton will appreciate you're meaningful endorsement.

Jack - Yeah, well, just look what happened to Heath Ledger...I told him......

Jack just got through saying a couple of months ago that Bush was his president, that when push comes to shove he supports his president no matter what. Sorry, Jack, not this president. You've been smoking too much weed. We can't go back to the nineties no matter how good it might look. Obama is the future. Jack its time to retire, its past your bed time.

I don't know if they are supporting Hillary or not - but the Eagles (best musical group in American history) have an extremely moving song out now entitled "Long Road Out of Eden" it talks about Iraq - fat oil companies - and the plight of our soldiers.

Why aren't bush and all the repubs boycotting the Eagles? Cause the Eagles are bigger than the bush regime - that's why.

Do you people ever think and can you do math? Obama is ONLY "14" years younger than Hillary and this does not constitute a gender change and the issues are just the same.

There's a sucker born every minute - those that allow themselves to be told who to hate.

...should these people be allowed to vote?

Jack Nicholson is a wroldclass actor and he is absolutely right in supporting Senator Clinton. She is the candidate who has a realistic view on what our country needs in order to change. Mr. Obama, as charming as he can be, unfortunately, has become more of a poet than a politician with credible strategy for change. Art (incluidng poetry) is certainly important and valuable, but currently we, the citizens, are looking for the next President rather than for the next hot rap star. It's one thing to sing about change and quite another to make it happen. So far, he couldn't really articulate what and how he could change. So, thank you Mr. Nicholson for joining those of us who think seriously about the future of our country.

Well, there you have it. All the 70+ aged members of the Hollywood set are voting for Hillary.

Yikes.

Deniro is better than Nicholson...no doubt about it. Hillary is pathetic in her attempt to match every endorsement with an endorsement like a grade school girl. Get to campaigning and selling yourself instead of trying to keep up with the Obamas!
