I Like ItI Don’t Like It
Michel

This morning on Good Morning America:

ROBERTS: So what if Senator Clinton defeats her husband, becoming the first woman nominee. Could you see yourself working to support the first woman nomination?

OBAMA: I'd have to think about that. I'd have to think about that, her policies, her approach, her tone.

ROBERTS: That's not a given?

OBAMA: You know, everyone in this party is going to work hard for whoever the nominee is. I think that we're all working for the same thing. and, you know, I think our goal is to make sure that the person in the White House is going to take this country in a different direction. I happen to believe that Barack is the only person who can really do that.

Some of you Obama supporters must not have much political experience. Have you any idea what the media will do to twist the words of "refreshing and honest" politicians (oxmoron really) You probably believe that it is possible to run a 'clean' campaign. Dirty politics has been part and parcel of the American landscape in EVERY campaign for President for over 250 years. Since John Adams. History is full of 'dirty tricks' from both (all) parties since politics began. I am sorry to disillusion you on this score but to expect any campaign to not involve negative campaigning, misquotes, smears and yes downright lies from both sides is to be naive. Even JFK knew that and used his own 'dirty tricks' to win his election. I'll bet Caroline and Teddy forgot to mention that.

How mean to use that photo of michelle for this story. Who was the sicko at Huffpo with enough decision making power to make such a fish brained call?

Michelle Obama's honest response is refreshing. She answers slowly and methodically on how she will vote in the final election. She will have to step back and think about casting a vote for a democratic candidate who tried desperately to destroy her husbands canidacy with divisive and racist remarks.

Michelle expresses the feelings of many Obama supporters, who will have to take a step back and think long and hard about who we will support in the final election.

The automatic choice is not Hillary Clinton, her policies, past and present, are very similar to McCain!!!!

However, this will be a mute point because OBAMA will be the nominee and it will be refresshing to have a President and First Lady who speak with such honesty!!!!

Big mistake by Michelle. Makes her look selfish, and his campaign about themselves only.

Can you imagine if Bill had said that?

I'm sorry to say I have seen the same "It's all about me." in Barack lately too.

Preaching unity my foot........

I'm really starting to dislike Michelle. She harbors a lot of anger and disdain. I don't like that in a person. These comments of hers are not only tacky, but it shows she really isn't very loyal to the Democratic Party. It is a free country, and she doesn't have to be, BUT her husband is running for DEMOCRATIC PARTY nomination. Be more of a team player Michelle....also, learn to forgive, you'll feel better.

I LOVED Michelle's comment. She THINKS before she acts, and by NOT GIVING the Democratic Party's APPROVED response, she has gained MORE of my respect.

I wish Michelle well as she makes her OWN personal decision.

Behind every great man ...there is an even greater WOMAN.

Sorry Hillary ...you lost this contest.

Nice message of unity. All's fair then, there is no way that I'm voting for Obama if he wins the nomination. This just proves my feeling about Obama and his campaign. He is just another salesmen with a hip pitch telling people what they want to hear. Don't believe the hype.

Michelle, that is really a narrow minded comment, it that the true nature of the spouse of a man who wants to Unite ?
I wonder , what Bill Clinton would have said ?
Hmmm....
Oh yes, I remenmber, he said If Obama is the Nominee , he would support him all the way.

You are right , you are no Bill Clinton !

I think Michelle is just being honest, and gracious. As first lady, she would be a welcome change and a leader in her own right.

I'm not just supporting Obama by himself, I'm supporting the family for their intelligence, honesty, and courage.

Just like men, women have led in different ways. But, the best leaders always do it from their inner strength. They don't obtain it through osmosis or try to hang it on convention.

Say it Michelle. We are all thinking it too.

If Hillary is the nominee, I am voting for whoever the republican candidate is.

I suspect that, assuming Obama is elected President, and I am fine with that, Michelle Obama will be one of the most disliked first ladies, ever. Not immediately, but over time she becomes a bit bitchy, is very demanding and seems to have a shorter fuse than Barack. It will eventually show through and become a big negative for him.

Obama will not have the crossover appeal in a general election. Democrats once again are not seeing that. They think the nomination is everything. Well it isn't.
He has all the voters he's going to get right now.
His inexperience, pedantic and clipped know-it-all tone, and rhetorical thinness will not fare him well to the country as a whole.
This is a friggin joke, and the Obamanites are the butt of it now. We'll all be the butt of it when he wins the nomination.
Just wait until we get another Republican for president. (And I don't support Hillary!)

Democrats are so dumb

Obama will distroy the democrat party before this is over

Obama the Republican dream candidate. Just ask George Will, Chris Matthews, Frank Lutz, Rush, etc.
