Stewart, Colbert and their STAFF are not the best thing on television. They are the best thing EVER to be on television.

Evolution has stopped in Arkansas, but that's no reason to throw out the whole theory. Huckabee was very funny and showed himself to be a good sport regarding this whole difficult period in TV land history.

I've always wanted to see Conan Obrien get slammed with a bat.... and lo and behold, my beloved Jon Stewart does the deed. That guy is funnier and a MUCH better interviewer withou this writers.

I did like it when Colbert sprung right up after being thrown down the stairs... one of the few funny things he does.

I wish they would STOP talking about McCain and Huckabee..... the fear of one of those loser running the country take the humor out of just about everything.

God, I hope the writers return soon.

That was hilarious. Nice payoff with the fight. That would have been funny if Huckabee said Chuck Norris was the one who really made him.

Holy Flying Spaghetti Monster people! Grow a funny bone. 70% (give or take 50%) of the people commenting are nothing but critical @ holes. With a Capital A.

Before Conan goes to THE BIG SHOW (The Tonight Show), a word of advice. When a joke gets a laugh, cut out the Three Stooges stick, ok? You're really getting on a lot of people's nerves.

Conan is much better without his writers.

That was thee most poorly executed stunt by 3 very talented men.
It was dull and boring and endless it seemed, I kept having to leave and come back hoping something was over...or something would happen.

Nothing screams for an end to the strike like last night's poor excuse for a show at CC.

ALL 3 are 'HEROES' of nighttime entertainment, writers or not!

I like stunts and what not. I find physical humor hilarious...so this was quite fun to watch.

Please! Any Stewart and Colbert fans out there know how they love their running gags! I thought the whole thing was adorable - especially since I have to assume most of it is ad-lib (after all, that IS the way to get around the strike - as both CCentral guys explained on their first day back)! I thought it was adorable! Especially when they all started dancing near the end! If you don't get it, then you just don't "get it"! I bet any fans of canadian sketch comedy (ala KITH) gets it and loves it!

Conan's really just a large girl, Steven's 'The Man' and Jon's the 'Big Cheese'.

Will somebody please set them up with a round of writers, 'straight-up'. The networks and studios WILL BE buying.

All three of these guys are very talented.

But that performance last night was the best evidence yet that at least two of them desperately need their writers back.

These three men are a riot, no matter what they do. They ARE the best writers on TV!

I still love "Strangers With Candy", Stephen has always been the bomb. Along with Conan and Jon.

Without their writers, they have been reduced to stunts. Settle the strike. Support the WGA.

What a bunch of negative Nancy's here. I guess some people don't get humor or satire. You are the people I see in the elevators in my building every day looking like you just smelled a chile fart. What a boring life you must lead. They are all great and funny guys. I would rather watch them than any news station - at least I know it would be the truth.

But then after seeing that lame skit last night, I have to believe that no real writers were used in the process.

I thought these TV gurus were smart and funny. Come to find out, without writers input they become very ordinary. It makes me think of politicians.
