People. People. Give us some credit! Folks make up their own minds in spite of what fervor is broadcast. The 2008 election is a very emotional one! People who have never voted are coming out in droves. Do you really think they haven't already made up their minds? After New Hamp, we all know we can't trust polls or anyone broadcasting them - the MSM admits as much. Relax. But what I do think deserves some consideration is whether or not votes are being counted honestly.

In the meantime, as I said above - we are not lemmings.

Too funny!

Nobody has a gun to their heads, and yet they complain the exit polls are posted.

At least the democrats are smart enough to know that their voters are not responsible enough to select the right candidate so they make sure they get the final choice by having super delegates. Now the republicans don"t have that safety net so we get George jr for 8 years.

Even the demos in charge of the party agree with me on the intelligence of the American voter so they put in super delegates to make the final choice. The Clinton machine is counting on those super duper delegates.

Americans wake up they all need to go. Sweep the house clean and the senate and then change the constitution. It is out of date. One change term limits for these professional politicians. They become bloodsuckers when they are in wash too long.

Surely Nancy and Reid has allowed you to see the need for term limits.

Huffpost doesn't have much choice but to publish the exit polls as they become known. Every other news organization is doing so.
Don't tell me you didn't log on here just to find out the progress of the election. Why else would you even be here, today of all days?

NO NETWORK, CABLE OR OTHERWISE, AND NO WEB SITE OR BLOG SHOULD BE 'PROJECTING WINNERS' UNTIL ALL THE POLLS ARE CLOSED. IT IS BLATANTLY UNFAIR TO THE WEST COAST VOTERS AND IS ANTI-DEMOCRACY. THE MEDIA SHOULD NOT BE CONTROLLING OR INFLUENCING VOTERS ON ELECTION DAY. THIS IS JUST PLAIN WRONG ON SO MANY LEVELS. AT SOME POINT ALL VOTERS, REGARDLESS OF PARTY, MUST SAY, 'ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, SHUT UP MEDIA, AND JUST LET US VOTE FOR OUR OWN CHOICES' Was I shouting?

I want the results to stay close enough that when we in Virginia have *our* primary on the 12th, it will make a difference. I'm tired of Virginia not making any difference. :p

I'm an Obama supporter, but if Hillary winds up being the nominee, I'll support her enthusiastically. She's still better than most of the Democratic candates we've had in the past three cycles and FAR SUPERIOR to any of the Three Stooges still standing on the right sight of the ball field.

Indeed you'll need an entire salt shaker!

Georgia: Obama 75, Clinton 26 ...the 50 point spread is now only 20...
