Pledged delegates, Obama has MORE!

Counting Superdelegates, CLinton has slightly more.

Super delegates can change their minds like they did in 2004 where Dean had more Superdelegates than Kerry in the beginning; then they quicly jumped ship once Kerry was rollling.

They are not done counting delegates yet- as of 6:30 eastern time CNN just said that they still do not know who won becasuse they haven't finished CA or MO.

Let's keep things in perspective - we have two very good democratic candidates who can win in the general. I agree that it will be harder for HC because she carries so much baggage and there are crazies out there who would actually cut off their own noses to spite their faces, but she could still win if democrats come together and support whomever the democratic candidate is.

They both kicked ass last night so let's stop all the petty bickering.

This is as true and as important a reality as the simply fact that the direction of the country is moving toward a Banana Republic type fascist state! Corporate ownership of the mainstream media is one of the keystones of daddy Bush's ONE WORLD ORDER and the reason you don't hear these divergent voices! The real issues need to be centered on adherence to the Constitution, corporate lobby influence in Washington and in every state, the neo-con vision of world domination, the militarism creeping into law enforcement on every level in our society, the large prison population (slave labor camps) and the state of our educational systems.

From reading this I can't really tell if Hillary or Obama has more delegates.

It says Hillary 1010 and Obama 906, but it's confusing because I don't know what the denominators are.

This number must be bytes like 1010k vs. 906gb?

Yeah, that must be it. Then Obama got more delegates.

Do these total numbers of delegates include Florida and Michigan which HC won but they're not supposed to count? D.

All decidedly blue states.

Think she can win the General Election? Can she beat McCain? Can she get independents and moderate Republicans?

So Hillary lost on Super Tuesday.

But b/c of insiders in the Dem Party (superdelegates) she can still win.

If these supers give her the nomination, I'm not voting for her in November no matter what.

I am proud that I supported someone with class it's a shame the Obama camp can't say the same thing! Hillary has congratulated him after every one of his wins including tonight but he has never congratulated her. He is such a petty little man like the petty little man in the White House! Only in America could you give pretty speeches using words like "change", "unity", & "hope" and at the same time be so openly rude and petty to not congratulate the other candidate and thus showing that your actions are the opposite of your words, and the people still believe you. I think a LOT of kids got left behind!

I would encourage everyone to hammer their representatives EVERY DAY to ensure we prevent this violation of our fundamental right to privacy. Contacting your local officials to pressure federal reps is an excellent idea as well - that's what I've been doing.

They hate me, but word does travel up the chain.

FISA UPDATE!

Considering the fact that the Thugs have 50 of the seats in the Senate, things are not going well.

The Rethugs are obstructing by blocking not only the amendments that would make the Intelligence bill palatable, but they are obstructing the Stimulus Package. The goal of all this is to force the Senate to vote on FISA just before the expiration of PPA in a few days.

Two action items: Get on the phone to your (Democratic) senator and demand that they vote against cloture of the bill (support Dodd"s filibuster) assuming that the amendments fail. Then get on the phone to your (Democratic) congressman and tell him that only the RESTORE ACT is acceptable, and to not compromise in any way on the Senate"s bullshit bill.
