Chelsea Clinton Calls 'View' Ladies, They Imitate Her Breathy Voice

Former and potential first daughter Chelsea Clinton worked the phones yesterday by calling three of four cohosts on The View. On Wednesday morning's show Whoopi said she voted for Hillary, and then Joy, Whoopi and Sherri recounted their phones ringing after Tuesday's show. Then, in quiet, dippy voices each relived her conversation with Chelsea. "Hi [pause], this is Chelsea Clinton..." Apparently the Clintons know Elisabeth Hasslebeck is a lost cause, as she lamented not getting a call.

Obama was not even in the senate to cast a vote on Iraq. But he gives the impression he was. That is like me saying I was against the war so vote for me for president. I was not in the senate to cast a vote and neither was Obama. Soldiers are fighting and dying and Obama is using Iraq as a issue to get into the WH. And he is not telling the truth about it. Shame on Obama for not telling the truth.

although it is a dumb story as presented, the bigger picture is that Chelsea is no longer the precious lamb. She can be a political force in her own right starting with the virtue of being born a Clinton. Especially if she is used in this powerful of a fashion to turn celebritie­s and influence media. If she injects herself into the political fray, then she is no longer off limits to reporters.
