Abrupt Finales For FX Shows Due To Strike

Hollywood Reporter:

There will be less "Dirt" and "Riches" on FX's schedule this year.

In a sign of what's in store for the series -- whose production was impacted by the writers strike -- FX has opted not to produce more episodes of the two series' second seasons.

"Dirt," from ABC Studios, and "The Riches," from Fox TV Studios, ceased production in December after completing seven episodes as they ran out of scripts.

What? FX has shows of their own? Ive had FX for years, and its mostly reruns of shows no one wants to watch to begin with. I find it a big disappointment with an occasional ok movie now and then. If we do ever get to select the channels we want , I bet FX and the others like it will be history in short time. I see why many cable channels fight it. They know they are crap.

'Dirt" is despicable,but "The Riches" is awesome!Minnie Driver and Eddie Izzard should be given Emmys for just existing.

I loved "The Riches"! It ranks right up there with "Big Love" (on HBO). I'm so bummed. I hope it comes back. The whole cast was great. I've always loved Eddie Izzard!

found Dirt to be just unwatchable... but we do miss the Riches.
Eddie Izzard is just so great
